Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NorwayThere is an untouched dirty spot on the bathroom mirror, the upper 10% that sits above the lighting, it is quite visible when you're slightly taller, or standing in the bathtub. The wall to the left of the bathroom sink needs a little TLC from the maintenance department. And lastly, we didn't like the grumpy big guy that was at reception in one night(00:00) for shoing us to our room when he saw we wanted to pour some of that lovely chamomile tea you have. It's not a problem that he did, we knew it was late but maybe a bit more friendly next time. :)
We liked the warm and friendly attitude of the young ladies that received us on our arrival. The chocolate Easter eggs were a nice touch that we liked, as well as the cozy lounge area. The breakfast is good and the staff attending is flexible, energetic and very helpful with information on the surroundings and possible activities. Raluca was always a welcoming host in the morning. She's always emanating great energy and positivity. It is wonderful to see the attending staff of a hotel in such a genuinely good mood. To me it means you have a nice work environment.

United KingdomLovely homely feel in a quiet location about half an hour walk from Grand Place. Tram stop about 5 mins walk. Staff are very helpful. Nice bar area with complimentary hot drinks. The room was quite small but comfy and the en suite had a full size bath with shower over. Good, varied buffet breakfast. Great restaurants very close by.

United KingdomThe hotel is not near any of the major Brussels tourist spots but it is reasonably close to public transport so they aren't that hard to get to.
Breakfast was exceptionally good. Great choice and good food too, mostly freshly prepared and cooked. Rooms well equipped and quiet. Good ambience and a pool table as a bonus!
