Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Really enjoyed staying at the Hoxton, the hotel is super pretty and has a unique vibe. everyone on the staff is so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless clean and very spacious, they offered us an upgrade without asking and made our weekend in Brussels just perfect.

Excellent design, very friendly staff and great food. I also really liked the location, it's easy to access Brussels city centre by tram but the area around the hotel is much more peaceful, with a beautiful botanical garden nearby. The hotel itself is so beautifully decorated that you want to spend as much time inside! I was also upgraded to the roomy corner room and the views were fantastic.

This is the only hotel I have stayed in in the past 5 years where the staff has *actually* been trained for hotel service. There is a thought to the hotel design, branding and facilities. It is beautiful and comfortable.

The location is great for getting to the center of the city and restaurants. The hotel has its own restaurant and more than adequate public parking next door. The staff went out of their way to assist you and provide you with all the relevant information that you will ever need.

GermanyWe were too old for the rooftop bar with rather loud music. The parking garage, which is not operated by the hotel, is horrible. The exit door did not open and nobody could be reached from the operator. People from the hotel then helped after ca 40 minutes. A friend was stuck in the garage, when she could not open the door to the stairs.
Friendly staff, modern hotel, nice view. Ca. 15 min walk to the city center.

PolandThe place itself is really stylish, we liked the interior and all the little details. The possibility of an early check-in with no additional charges already gives you a very good impression. The staff is very nice and helpful. You can also enjoy drinks and a great view from the rooftop as well as have a nice breakfast at the cafe in the lobby. The location is also pretty good, you are very close to the city centre and well connected with the other parts of the city. Overall, it was a very positive experience and if I’m ever in Brussels again, I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again. Thank you!

United KingdomUnfortunately, they didn’t have the best breakfast choice. Very little option for my celiac wife, no yoghurt which resulted in us having to skip breakfast. If it wasn’t for that we would given ten out of ten review. The other slight moan was the hot water in the shower kept stopping then starting, not a good look in such an impressive place.
A really great hotel, super location, clean & very modern. Staff were attentive and the room was awesome. We stayed on the 20th floor, such a great view. Loved the trendy pink bathroom pottery.
