Really good location and instructions provided were excellent. We arrived to Mechelen and were parked in 10 minutes. No physical keys, all done with app access which made it very easy. Sally on reception was very friendly and helpful.

The Suite is located in the centre of Mechelen, in a very quiet area (no city noise). The Suite offers overwhelming space in two parts: lounge and kitchen on the one hand, and bathroom and bedroom on the other. Good bath and shower facilities, lovely wide bed, good air conditioning (even in the heat) and, above all, all the facilities you could want in a hotel room. The breakfast box was amply stocked with everything that makes a continental Sunday breakfast iconic. Finally, nice parking facilities.

Not so much negative, but minor points of attention. Communication with the hotel was friendly, but sometimes a bit confusing. For example, through the online registration form we had booked breakfast every day, but the hotel initially stuck to breakfast once (as we had originally reported via Booking). It worked out in the end. Furthermore, the Hue light in the bedroom could not be turned off due to a broken switch (I'm not sure why you would want to go to bed in a red glow anyway). Fortunately, the lady at the reception was practical and solved the problem quickly.

Nice and small-scale hotel apartment, very centrally located near the Grote Markt in Mechelen. Due to the compactness of the city, all other points of interest can also be reached quickly on foot. A wide choice of restaurants and bars and especially for cat lovers like us: het kattencafe is literally around the corner. We made use of the nearby parking garage (booked through Vixx), the rate of which was reasonable. Breakfast in the room - which was pleasant, since you didn't have to sit down with a rumpled appearance next to someone who looked just like you - was diverse and above all tasty. A nice start to the day.

The extra sofa bed is not very comfortable. Breakfast charge is rather steep.

The bathroom was very moist and did not have proper ventilation. While taking a shower, the floor of the bathroom got all wet and the water didn't drain properly. Dirty damp spots in the corners made the morning ritual somewhat unpleasant.

Vixx hotel is situated at a great location right in the centre of Mechelen. The appartement is large enough for 4 persons and the kitchen is perfect for preparing breakfast and baking fresh rolls. The Nespresso machine makes great coffee, but there should have been more coffee cups/pads for our stay of 3 nights.

With contactless check in everything went smooth. All necessary information was provided beforehand. Appartment was clean, modern and equipped with all things that we needed. Towel service worked as requested. Would be staying there again.

Damage to bedroom curtain fittings meant they didn’t close properly. Slow draining bathroom sink. Very stylish decor but my sister (who has a partial sight loss) couldn’t easily pick out the white light switches against the white paint on the walls.

Central location, well equipped (fridge, microwave, hob, iron and ironing board) spacious (including a small balcony with a view over a canal) and air conditioned. Secure underground car park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Local cafés and restaurants nearby but the more tourist focused locations are 5 minutes walk away.

The greeting at the hotel was excellent and all questions answered right n a friendly and informative manner. We were delighted with our suite - spacious and clean it exceeded our expectations and made our visit to Mechelen a little more special.

The bathroom is weird, there is absolutely no way around it. Its like a marriage comfort-test. And we very much appreciated the provision of a toddler crib, but its definitely time to buy a new crib and sheets, this one has seen much better days.

Amazing location, fabulous terrace and a great place to relax. Ample space for 3 adults and one toddler and overall comfort!

Everything was above expectations. The penthouse was even more spacious than expected. A large shower and great bath. A roof terrace with the sun in the morning. Two toilets. The self check-in and check-out are great additions. Willingness of the reception to check in earlier. A great stay. Location is within 5 minutes walk from the main square of Mechelen.

The breakfast was a bit pricey and seemed quite big. In the end we didn't need so much food so we sorted ourselves out separately, eating breakfast in town instead. A cheaper option (maybe at 10€ / person max.) would have been appreciated and maybe we would have taken it. The lack of plastic keys to access the hotel and the room was a bit disconcerting, as it put us under stress to make sure we always had a phone charged & with data access. We don't know how we would have done if we had a problem with our phone (no internet for example), it wasn't clear... Also because of that there is a feeling of being a bit unsafe when being in our rooms, where we didn't have a physical lock on the door from inside. I think traditional plastic cards are better for the peace of mind.

Room exceptionally comfortable, great size, clean, very well equipped. It was ideal for us as couple with one young child. Everything was working well in the room and we haven't had a problem with anything. The hotel and its neighborhood was very quiet

Everything about Vixx was amazing! The personal touch of the host, Covid safe check in, breakfast to the room (I know it is only now with Covid but still awesome experience ) to the cleaning service and flexibility !!! I will be recommending this to all! And it is going to become my place to stay when visiting family in Belgium
