The sink leaks, the shower is broken, the window won't close, the floor is full of holes and stains... It's full of moquitos and flies. Everything is old and unmaintained. I co on and on. In all honesty, it should be legally impossible for this hotel to accept guests in the state it is in.
We had a roof over our heads.

After having tried 4 bookings at other places that got denied, we forgot to read into this place. I've been able to collect 30+pictures of things that are not normal to have in a hotel. From mouldy smells to holes in the wall, and from a leaking toilet to exposed electricity cables. The reception seemed out if order as we had to walk to a neighbouring Chinese restaurant to pick up a key to get in. Three steps in and an awful smell came our way. Our three person room had a leaking toilet, no shower walls, broken light with exposed light bulbs, dust piled up against the wall, a smell of feaces in the room, exposed electricity cables, random stuff lying around like buckets, multiple wholes in the wall and window seal, an old small and fat tv from a previous century and the list goes on and on. Please do not even consider this place as one of your options. We felt so dirty when we left and finally relieved and clean when we simple went to a hostel. This would then also be my recommendation to anyone wanting to visit Sofia for an affordable price!
The location is the only good thing
