I love everything about the hotel

The room maintenance really needs to be improved. Many small things in the room should be fixed, like the curtains, missing lightbulbs and the working of the lamps. The bathroom was in a very poor state. The garden should be maintained and looked after. The pool was overfilled with children and unfortunately some of it was closed off, which by the amount of people and children was disappointing. Therefore no free spaces of pool chairs, people just blocked them with their towels but didn't really use them.

We were greeted with a warm welcome! Super friendly and helpful staff! Good quality food for breakfast and dinner. Availability of additional services to be booked was great. Overall a good experience besides the pool area!

The only thing I disliked is that music was too loud over dinner so I could not speak comfortably with my partner. It was over valentines day and it's just I expected more mellow and romantic music, rather than popfolk.

The food and facilities were very good. The staff was amazing.

The dinner was in a restaurant in another building and the complex is not suitable for a family with small children. There are not indoor pools with less than a meter depth and also there are not children facilities outdoors.

Nothing ! Cant fault the place and the experience for what we wanted.

Location is convenient from Plovdiv for a short stay, it's only 30 minutes out of town, but you feel like you are in the mountains, impressive views. Rooms are big, spacious and well equipped. Bathroom really nicely designed and classy. Bed big and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast restaurants are very nice, with excellent variety and quality of food available. Staff are all friendly and professional. Spa facilities are exceptional. All round, a real high quality experience, for very reasonable price. We will go back soon.

Not enough place where to lay down at the spa Even though hotel was not at full capacity. The rest , perfect.

Staff super cool. From the receptionist who offer us prosecco when arrived to all the people there. Alexandra and the other people of the staff were always smiling and polite to all the customers. Room great. Spa good

No room service is the only disadvantage of the hotel

Located in a lovely village/ town , great view from the room of the Rhodope mountains. Room was huge and spotless clean. We had breakfast and dinner included , which were both decent. The hotel has a nice spa, with massage services which was great. The staff were kind and helpful. Everything was great, highly recommended. Only downside is that there is no room service:)

By Bulgarian standards it was quite an expensive few days, BUT for the quality of design, facilities, food and service, along with those views, then you defiantly get what you pay for. Not a lot to do locally on foot except trekking, there are a few shops in the village (with an ATM thankfully) and a few places to eat. There is a famous monastery near by that is walkable, but the area is best explored with transport.

Striking design throughout the hotel; externally very interesting indeed and internally everything is top quality, this really is a premium resort. Our room was huge with fabulous mountain views from the large balcony. Bed was large and firm (perfect for us) and the bathroom very attractive, clean and tidy, Breakfast; both the a la carte and buffet, was plentiful and well prepared. We ate there 2 evenings (not a lot of good options near by) and was impressed with the service and quality of the food. The spa facilities are excellent, with a good range of spa options, and again some lovely design touches. Only 20 mins max outside Plovdiv, it feels like you are miles away out in the hills, its so pretty and serene. the Alchemist pleasantly surprised us in all aspects of our stay, we were not expecting this experience so close to home. If you want to get away for a few days of luxury pampering, I could not recommend the Alchemist more highly.

The road Infront of the hotel is just some gravel. No proper lane, asphalt and drainage system for rainy days. This leads to bumpy road with tons of water puddles.

The hotel is huge with indoor and outdoor pools. The Spa zone is absolutely amazing. The rooms are very spacious and with amazing view. The food is really tasty and plentiful (the food was served on block table, there is an option for free consumption but we didn't tried it) Overall an amazing place that I would definitely visit again.

Breakfeast is good and location is gorgeous.We were very disapointed by the restaurant, the food was not great and service very strange, we were 4 and we had order 2 starters to share( shrimp tempura and fried calamari) I got my main course 1st and then 1 starter and then a friend got her main course and then another starter the calamari that was not well cook and then another main course and the last one was meat that was really bad.. And the next day the buffet in the evening was pretty awfull.

Regarding the restaurant staff, it seemed somewhat disinterested in providing any dinner at all, and it felt as if their focus was solely on the breakfast service and nothing more.

The room we stayed in was very comfortable as well as the bed. All the facilities were up to date and in excellent working condition. The location of the hotel was ideal for us, it was very quiet.

This is a kind of unique place in the low mountains near Plovidv, with a spectacular view of the city. The architecture is interesting and unusual. The staff was extraordinary friendly and helpful. The accommodations and facilities are top-notch. The WiFi is fast and easy to connect. The restaurant on site is top-notch. There is not much in terms of food nearby, but you could visit the old monastery and the cluster of 900+ year old trees nearby, both worth seeing.

Two negative points should be noted: One - the iron railing outside the restaurant needs to be urgently fenced off with additional fencing, it's dangerous. The iron fence is not dense enough. The other negative point is found in the "appartment" unit To most surprise, there are great photos of a kitchen, but there is only a kettle, a few saucers and glasses and a small fridge There are no accessories that justify the word appartment Whoever chooses such a unit wants to cook himself, and discovers that he has a large kitchen completely empty of electrical appliances. odd.

Let's start with the main thing There is definitely excellent value for money. The indoor pools easily surpass other luxury hotels. In fact, the place is excellent for families with children. The hotel restaurant is very good and costs just like in other restaurants in the city, meaning completely fair. A great restaurant is a 5 minute drive away in the nearby village. The hotel staff certainly tries to make its guests satisfied.

The SPA was not working on the day of our departure (Tuesday). There were no messages explaining what the reason is and no one from the staff was to be seen in SPA area to explain.

The mantanes and the pool cleaners could be better. The hotel is 10 min driving from the center. The breakfast is very rich, but at the same time it was less tasty. In our opinion, it is better to reduce the wide variety and invest more in the quality of the products.

Very luxurious hotel lots of attention to design and decoration. The rooms are very larg and spacious that combine comfort and luxury. Breakfast served in the hotel restaurant, very varied with fair quality. The hotel has a large outdoor pool + two small children's pools and two large indoor pools in the spa area with fair cleanest and maintenance. The spa also has several excellent saunas and a steam room. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and its spa. The hotel staff deserves praise for their exceptional warm hospitality. From the moment we checked in to the day we left, they consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their friendliness and genuine willingness to assist with any request, big or small, really set the tone for an exceptional stay.
