There was a problem with water in the toilet: there was water in the taps but not in the toilet. And it took much time to repair it (because the reception guy forgot about it and because the repair guy was absent — it was a holiday) but the reception guy gave me a key to another room so the problem was partially solved quickly.

It was clean, there were a fridge and a kettle in my room, breakfast was very nice.

The water pipes are quite loud and if someone in the building is using water, you will hear this. Fortunately the noises stop at about 22:00 and only start in the morning after 07:30.

The location is nice, the rooms are nice and everything is well designed. The facilities in the room are great. On the plus side, there is a rock bar in the basement, and it is very nice.

Though there is an electric cattle in the rooms, no tea bags or coffee is provided.

The location is superb, with access to many central attractions, shops, food markets, etc.

I picked a room with a kitchen to give me added flexibility on my stay. The room was a good size and was a super comfortable with an extra pillow in the wardrobe 😁 Close to shops and the attractions around Sofia and I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Would definitely stay here again

One day of our stay my husband and I arrived after 22pm and the hot water for the shower wasn’t enough for both.

Was slightly out of way for places to eat most that were nearby closed quite early. But Taxi extremely cheap so not a big issue to head back into centre. Also walkable in around 10 to 15 minutes.

The staff at this hotel went over and beyond to make are stay great. From calling us taxi to ordering us pizza on phone and delivering to room. Extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Deserve a bonus.x

There were no paintings in the room, although there were pictures. This is probably not a minus, but it was taken into account when choosing a hotel. Breakfasts are repeated daily. It's ok for a couple of days, but for a week it gets boring

Excellent location, close to metro and tram stops. Cool hotel design, very beautiful paintings. New plumbing and equipment in the room. Towels were changed every day! Friendly staff!

While the room provided basic toiletries such as soap and shower gel (both from a dispenser), I was surprised to find that there were no additional toiletries provided (e.g. no shampoo, conditioner, q-tips , etc.), which is something I have come to expect from hotels of this caliber. The included breakfast, while appreciated, could certainly be improved. Guests are given a choice of three options (i was able to choose from scrambled with bacon or cheese, or boiled eggs, each with toast, a croissant, and some vegetables + orange juice). While the variety was decent, the fact that the breakfast options were pre-cooked and served in individual trays meant that the eggs often arrived rather cold. Additionally, the lack of a coffee machine in the breakfast area was inconvenient, as guests are required to ask for coffee at the reception desk.

The room I stayed in was modern and comfortable, seemed like it was newly refurbished. The sleek design and amenities provided, including a big-screen smart TV with a complimentary Netflix account, certainly added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. The bathroom also seemed newly renovated and everything worked properly, which is always a plus. There is a hairdryer provided. Location is pretty central and close to a metro station.

Breakfast is very good but the menu is fix and served on a tray (boiled egg, ham, cheese, olives, vegetables; 2 slices of bread, one croissant, glass of orange-juice; you may ask for coffee). It might be made more flexible so to avoid wasting what you do not eat

The room was great, vary spacious and everything seamed brand new. The location is good as well, in a very calm street a 15 min walk form the Sofia's old town. There is a metro station 4 min walk as well.

The Art Hotel was reallynice, we had the apartment and it was just the right space for us. The sofa bed was really comfortable and the shower facilities were great. It was just a short walk to the main areas and felt really safe, we were able to leave our luggage on departure day and the staff were really friendly.
