We had a lovely time at Calla Retreat. Richard and Kelly are wonderful hosts. The food was exceptional and so was the accomodation. Everything is made with a lot of love and attention to detail. If you are looking for a little, green paradise, this is the place for you.

Everything perfect for a few very relaxed days. Cozy, comfy, clean, amazing hosts, great food... Would have loved to stay longer and would definitely recommend staying there. It's a little gem off the beaten track :)

My stay was too short.

Everything is made with love, nature everywhere- you hear birds, frogs, there are fireflies, crickets.. a lot of fruit trees and a beautiful natural pool. Great hiking trails close to the retreat, very peaceful atmosphere. The hosts are awesome! I had great yoga lessons with Kelly and my absolute highlight- Indian head massage (I had everyday one :) ) Richard is great cook, so don‘t miss to try his international specialties! Can‘t wait to come back!

Richard and Kelly are wonderful hosts. The cottage was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Hubby & I both had a Reiki session with Richard which was very relaxing. The food breakfast & Dinner were exceptional and plentiful, Richard is a excellent cook. Wished we lived closer so we could just go for a meal 😁. We wish them well in the future, they sure do deserve it.

Totally loved it, Calla Retreat is one of my favourite places in Bulgaria! The hosts Richard and Kailey are amazing, Richard cooks super tasty food that one can order for breakfast and dinner and Kailey is a fantastic yoga teacher. Calla Retreat also has a beautiful garden with a pond, sunbeds and plenty of hammocks to chill on :)

Having to leave!

Everything!It surpassed our expectations. The couple running it, Kelly and Richard, are extraordinarily kind and welcoming down to earth people. They were there if you needed them but discrete otherwise. The accommodation has everything you could need and the garden area and orchard has so many different places you can sit, chill, lay down; there are hammocks, sun loungers, an area under cover to chill, and table and chairs. The pond is incredible to have a dip and little swim in; envigorating. It is all so peaceful. I had 3 treatments and felt wonderfully cared for; they have very nurturing calming nature's. Richard cooked us a 3 course meal, which was superb ; great tastes and portions and great value and we could eat anywhere on the property. The surrounding areas are lovely to walk or cycle in, you can get stunning views from on high. All in all a perfect retreat. Well worth a visit.

I liked how cozy everything was. The general vibe the place exuded was "home". The couple that owns the place are the sweetest! We had a lovely time chatting with them. And the food... It was ecstatic... Richard sure knows how to make your tastebuds go crazy. Thank you guys for the amazing stay!!

I loved absolutely everything about my stay! Extremely clean, cosy, warm. The food was also brilliant. The hosts are beyond amazing and very helpful, I received reiki treatment, Indian head massage, guided meditation and yoga class, I totally recommend to try these. My body and mind are really thankful for this lovely experience. Also, I had the opportunity to come with my dog, and she loved it too!

Very special "must-see" place, calm and reenergizing. Very special hosts: Kelly, an yoga Master and Richard - a Reiki Master. Delicious vegetarian cuisine with an Indian touch. Must try. Will definitely visit again.

The host is very kind, the place is very beautiful and the breakfast it great. We booked a night in the tent and is very specious and tastefully arranged. It was a little bit chill (in September) but they offer us extra blankets so in the end it was a nice experience.

Usually there isn't anything purely perfect and there are pros and cons everywhere. But this place seems to be an exception. I loved everything during my staying there.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I traveled half of the world and can say with no doubts that it's one of the best places I've ever been. It's very much about attitude of owners who created this space with alotta love, care and attention to details. Perfect place to relax, recharge and be in a contact with nature in a super comfy conditions. I also have to mention the uniqueness of food I've got there. It's a home made and sooo delicious! I'm very thankful for my awesome staying there and def gonna come back to this piece of paradise.

Richard and Kelly have been very welcoming and relaxed hosts, helping us with all our needs. The whole place is naturally beautiful und designed with a lot of love and care. Many different areas to sit, play, relax or have a tea. A nice natural pool and a garden with vegetables and fruits. Richard served exceptional dinners in compliance with our dietary wishes. We had a great time and can only recommend this place
