In October, our family enjoyed a week-long holiday where we stayed in the Queen suite. The accommodation was outstanding and surpassed our expectations. The host (Petko) was very helpful.

This was a first class hotel, with very clean tidy and well equipped rooms and brillianly located in the centre of Old Town Nessebar. The beds and furniture in the rooms were very comfortable and of high quality, making our 3 night stay really enjoyable....The highlight of the stay was the service provided by the manager Petko....from the minute we arrived until we checked out he was available to answer questions offer help or advice....He gave us his Mobile number so we could contact if needed throughout our stay....If we return to Nessebar anytime in the future then the first point of contact will be Petko at the Hotel.

Wonderful hotel in Nessebar! The hotel manager Petko was so amazing!!!! He was so kind and extremely helpful for everything from helping us park the car to giving us restaurant recommendations. The room was large, clean and quiet at night. We could not ask for anything more.

We couldn’t find any pans in the kitchen!

We think the rooms really need a small fridge. Also a rubber seal around the doors would be very helpful to stop any noise from the corridor. The rooms don't have balconies which makes it a bit tricky for a beach side accommodation so a common area where beach towels can be dried should be considered. Perhaps some racks on a back terrace. But these are just suggestions for improvement, it is still a 10/10 accommodation and we had a marvelous time there.

Excellent accommodation, the best we stayed in Nessebar. The room was big and clean and modern. The bed was comfortable with quality linen and towels. It is hard to come accross quality accommodation in the old town so we were happy to have booked this one despite the high price. But the absolute best thing about it was Petko, the manager. He is the most helpful, friendly staff member we have ever come across. He works hard and goes the extra mile for anything the guests need.

The location was ideal. So close to everything! The room itself was absolutely fabulous. Looked exactly like the picture. If anything, was bigger than I expected. The manager, Petko, is fantastic. He couldn’t have been more accommodating or helpful.

Despite the hotel is built & decorated to a very hight standard, there are some minor updates which will turn the already good experience to a superb one: the main critic have been the small sink tables in the bathrooms of the QUEEN apartment: they should be changed for bigger ones, as there is literally no space around the sink & we had to put our toilettries in the hallway...There was NO (!) A/C systems in the 2.bedroom of the Queen apartment & this unit does not have any outside area/ terrace at all... The kitchen equipment could benefit of some more glasses, plates etc. if you wish to make a selfcatering stay... The hotel restaurant has been still closed during our stay & we could not enjoy it & the attached pizzeria was also still not operating.

We have been a large group of 8 family members & friends travelling through Bulgaria & the Castro Mesembria Boutique Hotel was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We have reserved the 2 top rooms: the QUEEN & the KING apartments as we wanted to have some private space at night... During our stay we have been the only guests in the hotel & the manager PETKO has done his best efforts to make our stay a real success. The entire hotel is of an unique size & built to very high standards & very tastefully decorated, all bed linen are of linen from ZARA HOME. The 2 apartments are extremely spacious & tastefully decorated, there are NESPRESSO coffee mashines with free capsules available, the kitchens are of high quality & MIELE appliances. The KING APARTMENT is slightly bigger & offers a large private terrace overlooking the patio with the restaurant terrace. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel (both of them have been still closed during our stay) but they should be open soon. Despite some minor improovements needed: we can highly recommend the hotel to everyone who wants to be midst in NESSEBARs old town an UNSECSO HERTITAGE sight.

The location of Castro Mesembria is great, being placed in the exact center, in the main piazza of the peninsula, close to many attractions. The parking is close to the Castro (2-3 mins walking). The interior is refurbished with style, high quality materials, respecting well the old lines. The first impression when entering is of a modern museum. Rooms are quiet and cool during summer days. Good facilities, TV has Netflix, YouTube, restful bed and sofa. All in all the exeperience offered is indeed great and comfortable. Nespresso coffee is available in the lobby. The owner is very nice, always polite and helpful in all matters (being fluent in English). Staying also in other locations from Nessebar old town in other occasions, I would say Castro Mesembria is top 1 în terms of comfort, style and accessible location.

There is nothing we didn't like.

An amazing location, a museum building like you rarely see anymore. The location is very good right in the centre of the village, everything is very easy to reach in the Old Town. The design is exclusive, with good taste, and an aristocratic style. I have seen many countries, cities, many accommodations, but this exceeds any imagination of good taste and style. The cleanliness is to be studied, it is a study for other owners, it is unimaginably clean. Linen, towels, and accessories are of a very good quality, 5 stars. It is a dream location for connoisseurs, with comfort, good taste, cleanliness beyond imagination, everything superlative. The manager Petko is a very kind host, kind beyond the limit, very gentile and helpful with everything. It was a great pleasure to meet him and to talk with him, he is very attentive to details and very helpful. The Pinocchio pizzeria will open soon, and also the restaurant of the hotel, both with the same refined design. Congratulations to the owner and many thanks to Petko for perfect hospitality. We discovered a place of soul, which we will put in the locations to visit more often. WE RECOMMEND FROM THE SOUL! 🤗🤗

Castro Mesenbria is the perfect place to stay in Nessebar. Hotel manager Petko Stoyanov is very nice, friendly, and always helpful. From reservation to check out it was very easy going and flexible. He helped us for check in even though we came too early. When we mislaid the room key he came over from Burgas to help us to open the door. He helped us to get information for bus ticket to Sofia. The Room is very spacious, stylish, very clean and comfortable. The location is very central, next to a beautiful historic church, and very quiet. It is one of the best places we ever stayed during our decades of travelling together. We definitely recommend this hotel, and shall definitely come back here if we visit Nessebar again.

Perfect location! Astonish view of the Old town of Nesebar ! Very cosy boutique hotel with the most friendly staff , especially Petko! Extremely clean, comforatble and spacious room.
