Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyCheck-in is the worst part. It took about 30 mins for 5 passports. Poor breakfast. Poor English. 10 mins drive to city center.
Spacious and clean rooms, comfortable bed. Parking is easy. In case travelling by car, the hotel is a good choice. Value for money. If you are used to the lack of smile on the faces of staff working in BG, all is ok.

United KingdomThe hotel is really dated. It needs a major refurb but for one night it was enough given the price. We got a twin room despite booking a double, which was a bit of an issue as traveling with a baby. Was told they’re fully booked and there’s nothing else they can give us. The carpet in the room smelled of old socks and the beds are very soft. If you’re only stopping there for one night it’s enough but definitely not for a longer stay.
Good location, close to the city but also just right on the motorway.

United StatesSome disrespectful and drunk American woman ruined my whole nights sleep, screaming, crying, cursing and fighting with her boyfriend, right outside my door. I'm driving through Europe, so after long hours on the road across countries, I finally try to get some rest at some hotel on the way. But my hope for that one nights rest that I booked the hotel room in the first place for, was ruined by her and her boyfriend. 4 a.m. in the morning, that drunk woman, with a total disregard to other people sleeping in rooms around her... came out of a room across from mine, screaming, fighting with her boyfriend. 4 am in the the freaking morning. She woke me up with her loud crying and cursing and yelling. And the hotel staff, even including police that was called, couldn't do anything about it. They still kept banging the walls, doors and talking loud in hallways and kept people up until 5- 6 am in the morning. And lastly, they have to to train the restaurant staff a little better, teach them out to understand there English menu. And they have to correct lots of confusing information and mistakes in their menus, which was very confusing for English an speaking guest like me. They know what I'm talking about because I already tried to explain them on the spot.
Great staff, good clean hotel and the room for the value. The girl at the reception and the guy at the bar were very friendly and awesome to talk to. They both spoke very well English and were very understanding and helpful. I felt welcome...

Czech RepublicThe hotel is surrounded on all 4 sides by large parking lots for city busses, trucks and cars, except for a bit of lawn in front. We also found maintenance somewhat lacking, especially burned-out light bulbs in the ceiling lights. And the decor is not great (e.g., garrish red and black tiles in our bathroom).
This is a relatively new hotel on the southern edge of Plovdiv city limits. Our room was clean. The breakfast was okay. The price of the room was attractive, and there was ample free parking.

United KingdomIn the room there is nothing like kettle, tea, coffee sugar. Bear empty room. In the bathroom there is no shampoo, soap and ather amenities. Just a soap box. All over Bulgaria, this kind of rooms are sale for 30 Levas. This hotel charges me 61 Levas.
Breakfast was supposed to be free. They only give me half cup of coffee (espresso) and told me if I want any more hot drink, I have to pay. Two scrumbled eggs, two sliced of bread and nothing else.
