A few things. We are talking about the spa area. The hammam and infrared sauna were not working when we were there. The pool occasionally smelled like sewage. Therefore, there was a slight disappointment because the hotel was chosen for the spa area.

The vegetarian/vegan options were very limited with almost no replacement for meat dishes (regarding proteins). Although they served eggs as scrambled, boiled and fried every morning, as well as beans included in some dishes, there was no guarantee you could cover your protein needs as a vegetarian/vegan with every meal. Although it's a 5* hotel, they offered no toothpaste/toothbrush, no lady toiletries or bathroom robes. Even if they have a parking lot in the basement of the hotel, they charge 20BGN/day. The parking lot was full and I understand the limited space, but that's just poor management and space planning. We only managed to book the SPA once for 1h over a one week timeframe. The front desk personnel should be more proactive in informing the guests when/if there are busy periods. Neutral (not an issue): The hotel doesn't offer a private beach area. You need to find the free areas or pay for the other private ones.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room, bathroom, pool area, dining area were all very clean and regularly maintained. The bathroom shower gel, shampoo and salts were pretty decent. The cooked meals from breakfast, lunch and dinner were plentiful and tasty. Plenty of veggies and fruits to choose from. There were also 2 snack times in between main meals. The beach was close enough (5min walk). There are a few facilities you might enjoy: pool table, ping-pong table and SPA area (where you need a reservation well in advance). We opted for the all-inclusive choice.

Very good and fresh food, the rooms were clean and very spacious, I highly recommend it! I was in September and the hotel was still full of people even though it was the last weekend before it closed for this year and the weather/water was not the warmest. I paid €300 all inclusive, 2 rooms (September 21-24)😁

What I didn't like is the forced sale of the parking space for the car. The hotel owners have found a clever way to manipulate Bookings.com's system and the guests that stay at their hotel. What do I mean by that? When we arrived at the hotel, we were asked to pay for parking which instantly increased the cost of our stay there by 25%. Yes, you've read it right: the total cost (which was for 5 nights) was increased by 25% due to the parking fee. Now, the hotel owners fully know this: when ppl arrive there, the last thing they want is to start the holiday with nerves and agitation. Hence, the forced sale. You have to buy the parking for your car. Regarding Booking.com, this practice should be banned; the hotel has the parking fee put into their Terms of Service, but how many booking visitors bother to read the Terms of each hotel before they buy? Or at least, there should be some red warning on the Booking's Hotel page with the text: "Parking per day is: XXX USD at this location. When you will arrive at the destination you will immediately need to pay the parking fee for the duration of your stay". It's not acceptable that this information is hidden in the terms of the service. What should the hotel do in order to fix this? Add the car parking fee into the price of the hotel. It's included anyway!! When I arrived at the hotel, I was not presented with options: "buy parking or leave your car over there". I was simply asked to pay for the parking, no questions asked. Aside from tricking ppl into buying an offer that is in reality 25% more expensive than what they know, there is no reason at all to employ this tactic. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I liked the hotel's room, the location, the staff etc. It's clean. But I also want to be treated fairly.

We loved everything! What an amazing hotel! Very clean hotel with very good location, walking distance to the sea is about 10 min. Very quiet, calm and relaxing 😌 We had a big room with a spacious balcony and sea view. The table and chairs were on the balcony so we could relax. The room is excellent, clean, big and well fitted. The room is cleaned daily. The bed is big and very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with towels and bathmat, shower gel, sea salt and shampoo. TV and wi-fi worked well and fast. Fridge, ketel, cups etc. available in the room. A/C was working well and made the room cool, outside was so hot🥵 The food was excellent, big variety and with high quality. We couldn't try everything but everything look delicious! All staff was very friendly, smiley and very helpful. We had a very good time in the hotel. We can highly recommend Continental Hotel. 🥰🥰🇧🇬🌞🌞

It takes a bit of time to walk from the hotel to the beach and back, and we made that trip twice every day. The stairs leading to the beach could be cleaner, but this is not the hotel's fault. The pool water, although clean, felt quite cold. Due to the hotel positioning, the sun is shining on the pool only during the first part of the day.

We received exceptional service by everyone involved, from the reception staff, to the cleaning crew, to the staff from the restaurant and everyone else. We had the all inclusive service, and travelled with a 10 month old. The room looked newly refurbished, was very specious and clean, and were greeted by a beautiful baby cot when we arrived. The baby was excited to explore and play in both the room and the baby cot. The cleaning lady was very friendly and performed her duty well. The AC in the room was working well, and the room was quiet overall (the baby could sleep with the balcony door open). Given that we travelled with a baby, we were a bit concerned about the food. Turns out the food was exceptional, very varied, tasty, well cooked and plenty of it available even at the end of the program. There was always something else for us to try. The baby liked everything and has eaten soups daily. Plenty of baby chairs available. The desserts were also really good. The restaurant staff made a really good job, they were always friendly and the tables were always clean. The hotel, restaurant and the pool were always extremely clean, some of the cleanest I've seen. The hotel has paid underground parking, and it was nice knowing that the car was safe. We are considering coming back next year.

The gym.

The only thing that could have had been better was a better gym. The one that you have at the moment can barely be categorised as a gym. Overall the experience was too good to give less than 5 stars just because of this reason. Good luck in the future, I will definitely return.
