Swimming pool heating was not on which is not usually expected for outdoor pools. I just remembered it from few years ago and was expecting it. I wish they were open in winter too.

I have travelled a lot but the level of care and attention the Dallas Residence shows is unbeatable! I came once with family few years ago. This time I was confident to recommend it to my colleagues. They were so impressed that are planning holidays with their own families there. Thank you!

not very close to a beach, outside the door of the property a different world ( dirty and noisy) still the hotel cant do much about it. we missed a balcony to dry our towels after a day on the beach.

Not everything on the facilities list was available, such as fitness room and the swim up bar, sauna etc - presumably shelved as there hasn't been the demand for them. We were often the only pool users in the evening, so you can easily guess why these little luxuries are not currently viable. This hotel has clearly been set up with conferences and events in mind but its large basement event space looks to have been mothballed. COVID will have been a major challenge to places like this.

A very unique hotel and experience, it is eclectic, and an expression of imagination and joy, with displays and artistic touches around every corner, antique furnishing and many eye-catching corners. It was also deliveredd with an unmissable breakfast, full of variety and delight. The owners and doormen could not do enough for us and we were greeted everywhere with smiles and helpful inforamation. The location by the sea garden was lovely and taxis were low cost and easily secured for travelling further afield. The owner also found us tennis racquets and balls to use the court.

Why we take out 1 point from this gorgeous hotel is because of the location and the fact that you cannot spend a whole day at the hotel. It offers breakfast but no lunch or dinner. As such not a big problem if you are not with kids as Varna offers a lot of good restaurants and the possibility to visit this old and quite nice city. We understand that the size of the hotel does not allow to keep a full-fledged restaurant. Maybe as a suggestions: A small fridge at the pool with water and juices could be a good idea, so that guests can take and sign a list about what they take. The type of guests in this hotel should allow for proper functioning of such system.

Great hotel, can only recommend. This is our second stay at this hotel, and we love it even more. We read that it has come in the years, but were well surprised that all was in great shape and very well maintained. The rooms are very generous and the furniture very romantic. We were a bit preoccupied as we traveled with children this time, but the hotel is perfect for families with small children as well. The garden is a perfect place to discover for small persons with no danger that they hurt themselves or go out from the area of the hotel. Much better for families looking for rest compared to big hotels in the resorts. In addition, on the pool it was almost only us, so I was not stressed when the kids were a bit noisy. Parking space is no problem at all. Breakfast was I remember it from 8 years ago, small selection of good quality products, more than enough. Should we be in the Varna area again, this would be always our choice.

Location to city is about 1 hour to 1:15 walk from the hotel.

Very lovely place, that really strives to make you comfortable and welcome in the residence. Even when I arrived way before scheduled time, they still managed to find accommodation for me. Breakfast is nice and tasty. Stayed there for 2 weeks.

The room was great. Loved the antiques. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hottub and the pool. Breakfast was excellent. Nice buffet, eggs and bacon were cooked to order. Parking was great. It was secured and shaded. All of the staff were super helpful and spoke great English.

Everything was beyond perfect.

Everything was beyond perfect. This hotel lives in a time of its own, in a magical place which is hard to define, only to be experienced. The rooms are designed in a really beautiful mix of slightly baroque and late 70s. The garden is wonderful. The breakfast is really delicious, with quality food, never boring. The place is like a haven of piece and quiet. But first and foremost, the host, who showed us the room, made us the breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed, is the kindest and most professional person working in a hotel. He is the one who made our stay really special, and in a way, is the epitome and soul of the hotel.

The residence is like a mini luxury resort with beautiful gardens and a pool area. The saunas were not working at the time, but I took a swim and stayed in the warm jacuzzi. Everything is vintage but not old per se. If you like a retro style this is definitely the place for you but all in all the atmosphere is special and makes you feel cozy Great parking indoor and 24/7 security

Very friendly staff and at a high level. We were with our dog (27 kg.) And it was well received. He was not discriminated against because of his size. Wonderful garden performance. The jacuzzi and the pool were clean. We will visit the hotel again.

We had a wonderful time, the hosts were lovely, we didn’t missed anything. The garden is peaceful and luxourious. The fact that it’s not a standard hotel but looks more like a residence makes it special and homie. Hosts are very friendly, customer oriented and always willing to make sure your stay feels like home.

The rooms and amenities are old, I guess the property had it's glory days, when all was very fancy and glamorous. It wasn't sparkling clean... The pool has cold water, heated by the sun, but since the most part of it is indoors, it's cold.

The garden is very nice and large, so you can have your privacy and wander around. The breakfast was generous. The waiter was very attentive, he helped us with everything we needed. The jacuzzi has warm water. You can bring your pet. We found it suitable for a 5 year old.

We felt great from the first moment we stepped to the property. - The staff is unbelievably helpful and kind. Everyone speaks English very well. - Everything was clean. - The room was huge and full of antique furniture (the real one!). You immediately feel like a princess (even my boyfriend did). - The garden was beautiful. Full of trees and bushes, so it offers privacy. - The swimming pool area is very nice and sufficient. - Next to the swimming pool, there is a whirlpool. - The breakfast was too big for us (eggs, hams, cheeses, vegetables, bread, juice, coffee and water) :) If we stayed for more days, it could get quite repetitive, but I am sure that after consulting that with the staff, they would offer another solution to make you happy. - A sand beach is like 5 minutes walking. Another one (the Hidden Beach) is like 10 minutes walking (accessible by hidden stairs or through another beaches). And like 15/20 minutes there are beaches with paid umbrellas, bars and restaurants. - The location is awesome as 5 minutes walking there is a supermarket and restaurants.

They should go away from the 5*. They are not, but a good 4 * hotel. Put the prices a bit down, they will have more client's.

A very, very pleasant stay. The location of the hotel is great, the garden is amazing, very peacefull and relaxing, the staff is really welcoming doing whatever they can to make you feel at home, the rooms are nice (they might seem a bit out-dated and could need some improvments, but they are comfy and equipped with all you need). Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Hotel is a masterpiece, staff are exceptional. It’s an enchanted place, had the best time ever. Breakfast was luxurious, fresh to order . Branimir was brilliant, professional, yet very friendly and knowledgeable. We were told lots about the owner of the hotel and how the place was built and also about the gorgeous furnishings. The memoirs of the owner are for sale and I highly recommend it, very interesting book!
