The A/C was not very effective and the card for the electricity was pulled out by housekeeping while we were out which was not pleasant with the high temperatures outside. There is no balcony.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included but you need to confirm if you will use it the day before - we did not try it. The location is great, few minutes from the central street and steps away from wonderful cafe and an amazing restaurant.

Everything was ok

The room was very spacious, clean and actually everything looks brand new. The bed was surprisingly comfortable - we slept like babies! Location is also great- right near the center. Next time when we visit Stara Zagora we will definitely stay there again.

The shower needs repairmen. The restaurant is not working. No possibility for breakfast. The lady at the reception was very slow and it is difficult for her to manage with the job.

The breakfast was poor, for the price of the stay. About 8 slices of cheese, about 8 slices of ham. Some eggs. Although they denied responsibility for it, a wrapped butter chip had black mold inside. They just said, "Sorry!" And then they charged 10 Levr for it. No coffee, tea, or hot water maker in the room. Nor a single bottle of water. Empty refrigerator. Written Rules include: "Don't let the other bed get messed up, or we'll charge you more." Elevator button numbers were worn off. Had to guess if it was A, R, 0, 1, 2 or 3.

It was clean. It was quiet. The receptionist wasn't rude.

Although the description says the hotel has 24 hours reception, we were charged 20 BGN for late check in ! Also when I paid with 50 BGN bill they did not have change and returned only 25 BGN, also they did not provide invoice/receipt for this payment.

The hotel's restaurant is completely closed. Not even the most basic breakfast option available, although it is advertised so on booking.com. I was unable to even get a coffee. Rooms are small and stuffy. The water was barely lukewarm, which fortunately did not bother us much because it was the heat of summer. No option for self-catering in the rooms (not even coffee cups or a kettle), which would have been nice provided the restaurant is no longer functional. The building is crammed between 10-stories condominiums and that's what you can admire from the windows: the balconies and concrete walls of communist-era apartment buildings from max 10 meters away.

The hotel is situated downtown. It is away from the traffic noise.

On the way to Greece, we decided to stay one night in Bulgaria, to make the journey easier to bear. we searched a bit on the net for accommodation options in Stara Zagora and decided on Hotel Elegance. After almost 5 hours of walking, we arrive. when we entered the city, we returned about 20 years ago, the hotel outside looks like from the same period. We mustered up the courage to enter, in the reception we were greeted by a lady who didn't know any word in English. I was afraid to get to the room. however... the surprise... a friendly, big, clean room, with a generous bed, impeccable bedding.... in the end I say... come on, it's ok in the end. I think it was 38 degrees in the room... super hot. My husband turns on the ventilation unit (not the air conditioning) and I wait for it to cool down and I wait and.... I still waited until morning. It was horrible, I didn't close an eye the whole hot night... I do not recommend

Room Cleaning Comfortable beds

The smell in the bathroom was unbearable. Had to keep door closed all time and open the window at the room for fresh air. In the morning I felt nausea when entering the bathroom to wash. No sound insulation , so from 7.30 you can hear everything , the cleaning ladies knocking all doors hitting stuff on the hall. On top, i had a wake up call ( i think) because nobody was on the other side until i get to the phone. They say private parking , the parking is not private, it's on the road , not guarded.

The front desk guy was kind and helpful. Minibar ( empty ).
