I and my husband stayed there for 3 nights. Our room was perfectly equipped, well decorated and lit. The bed was very comfortable. Temperature of hot water was good. The owner Hristo and staff were very friendly and helpful, big thanks to all of them. The wine&cheese treat was lovely. Red wine tasted very well. Breakfast was great. Wi-fi was quite sufficient. The hotel was very clean and cozy. Location was great. Most attractions were in a walkable distance. Despite being very central, there wasn’t any noise at night, our sleep never became interrupted. Hotel Evmolpia will be our choice of accommodation during our future trips to Plovdiv!

From start to finish it was an amazing experience! The hosts met us at the front door, helped us with the parking spot, then gave us a great overall introduction to how we can navigate the hotel, along with suggestions for places we could visit during our stay. They really made us feel at home. The rooms were clean and tidy. A special impression we had is that attention has been payed to every small detail. The accommodation in our room was very comfortable, and the furniture styling was amazing!

We truly enjoyed the hospitality and quality of everything at this place. They were so welcoming and the inside is so calming. I think other hotels around the world should benchmark the initial experience of this place. We've been at a lot of hotels, we'll always remember this one. I'll say the same as the rest of the guests, room was great, air conditioning was great. Shower was great. Breakfast was great. Location was great. Parking was great. This is the place to be.

One of the best hotels with the best staff I’ve ever experienced. I felt like royalty. The breakfast they set up, and the way they greet you with wine and cheese was just spectacular. The rooms were amazing too. So clean and brand new, and there was lavender bundles on the bed. Every little detail was thought out. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Our standards are pretty high, and this exceeded them by a lot.

The whole atmosphere was excellent. The staff is friendly and supportive. There is a ‘happy hour’ with wine and cheese! Room was spacious with old furniture which immerse you in the atmosphere of the old city but on the other hand you have the comfort of the modernity like air conditioning. The location is perfect - in old city but also close to the famous quarter Kapana. There is also a free parking nearby the hotel for the guests coming with cars.

We needed a place just for one night in Plovdiv and we found this hidden gem in the old town. Everything was nice in the hotel, starting with the hosts, the very spacious rooms, the food and wine bar. We only could be sorry for not staying for more time!

Everything was perfect apart from the fact that our room was fairly noisy and we could hear banging around during the day from the floor above.

From start to finish, our stay was fantastic. We received a warm welcome from the owner Hristo, who took time to explain the map of Plovdiv and recommend sites/restaurants to us. The room itself was lovely, very spacious and cool. The free wine and cheese, as well as the breakfast was great. Hristo and his wife were very friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Plovdiv!

Hotel location is in the old town- taxi drivers do not agree to go there, we were not able to get a taxi from the bus station, and for the way back we had to carry our luggage across the street to reach the taxi. The location is not recommended for old people or people with disabilities, since you have to climb stairs and walk through narrow and badly paved streets.

The hotel is beautiful and the room has a unique vibe to it. We had trouble getting a taxi from the bus station to the hotel- so the hotel owner came to pick us up. The hotel offers complementary cheese plate and wine bottle every afternoon.

The only downside for our stay was how loud closing the doors were, both the internal bathroom ones and the main room doors. Not sure there's much you can do in an old building but we certainly knew when each of the other rooms was coming or going.

This is a really well run hotel with beautiful rooms full of stylish furniture the owner (Hristo) goes the extra mile to ensure you feel welcome and have everything you need for your stay. Our bed was extremely comfortable and although we didn't really like the first pillows there was the option to change and the others were great. There was a huge walk-in shower, air con, hairdryer, iron, it was a perfect base for our time in Plovdiv. The location is just on the edge of the beautiful old town and 5 mins from The Trap.

Everything was outstanding from the lovely welcome and attentive service to the beautiful room and thoughtful touches such as homemade lemonade on arrival and available complementary for the entire stay. The complementary wine and cheese as also very welcome. The rooms are first rate. We had one on the 2nd floor with a fabulous balcony looking out over the cobbled lanes. The hosting was first class and Hristo and his team are always very happy to help. Highly recommended.

We liked everything. It's very stylish and cozy boutique hotel, located in the heart of Old City. 24/7 you can get complimentary hot tea and coffee and cold homemade lemonade. Hristo, the owner, is a very nice and welcoming person. Before our arrival, he gave us all the instructions and took care of getting permission for entering the Old City by car. He personally met us at the entrance to the hotel and offered some snack and wine. The breakfast was excellent and included very delicious homemade traditional Bulgarian dishes. We'll definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and will stay there during our next visit.

A superb stay from start to finish. The owner emailed me before I arrived giving me directions from the station. I was met with a warm greeting and welcome cup of tea. The room was charming and the hotel is well sited in the old town. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of tasty homemade food. Well recommended.
