Everything was great.

The view from the terrace was exceptional. The room was so clean that I thing for the last cuoke of years we get only in Leshten ang here. And we travel like every month. The food was great, with local products. The tomatoes and cheese was like the ones from my dad garden and a farm.

The TV was one all the time in the dining room. I thought it distracted from the ambience of our dinner and breakfast. It would have been lovely to have Bulgarian music or some nice music playing in the background rather than TV.

The village and guest house were amazing. The view from the comfortable communal balcony was just amazingly beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfy. The building is old and in the authentic style, but with a modern bathroom, and lovely art work on the walls depicting local scenes. We were able to store some food we brought with us in a refrigerator. We parked our car on the main village road and walked up. We got lost and confused, but I messaged through booking.com and the woman who is the host came and found us and showed us the way. It was our fault as we do not speak Bulgarian, and did not recognize the name of the guest house on signs because it was in cryllic. If you come, it is helpful to note the cryllic spelling of the place and you will find it easily. Our host did not speak English, but was helpful with our questions. She provided us with extra pillows which made the bed more comfortable for me. Breakfast was nice and very filling, and served in their dining room with a fireplace. We had a nice stay in this unique historic village and highly recommend it.

It was a little difficult to find the place, especially arriving in the dark! Perhaps some indications in advance would help. But anyway we love our stay here.

The place was really cozy, restaurant with chimney and bedroom comfortable with nice views. The breakfast was lovely! Best Mekitsa we had in Bulgaria!

This is a beautiful place with traditional Bulgarian style design and amazing views of the mountain and the village. We loved our time there, the room was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The bathroom was lovely, spacious and witha shower separation so that water would not go everywhere. The woman who works there (also in the restaurant) is super kind and friendly! She made a very tasty breakfast for us and we also had dinner there - everything was perfect! This place is a real gem!

Perfect view from any balcony of the house, quiet place, nice home-made breakfast traditional for Bulgaria, friendly staff, lots of green platground for a kid or dog. Outdoor space is very well cared of. 1 min walk from the village center. In general nothing to complain but just great feedback. Will come back there soon!

Our room was tastefully decorated in traditional Bulgarian style. It was clean, cozy and with good size. The hosts are friendly and attentive. The property is very beautiful and same applies to its grounds and surroundings. In the warm months the guest house features its own outside restaurant in the garden that serves breakfast and dinner. The restaurant serves traditional Bulgarian cuisine. The prices at dinner are a bit steep, but it is understandable for such a remote location. The food is tasty and freshly prepared. I recommend you to try some of the specialties of the Rodolphe mountains. They are delicious. The breakfast features typical Bulgarian pastry called mekitsi, served with homemade jams. Please be advised that the guest house can only be reached by walking uphill on a narrow eco-trail. You have to park your car somewhere on the main street down in the village and them walk uphill to the property. Also, note that there is no wifi at this property. Overall, the village of Kovachevista is magical and this guest house is a wonderful place to stay at and enjoy the fresh air, the tranquility and the natural beauty of the area.

We loved everything about our stay at Byalata kashta. The staff was really nice, the rooms well heated and comfortable, the outdoor seating on the upper deck was super cosy. Tasty local breakfast was served as well. Can't recommend the place enough.

It was quite cold on the evening (September) and the room was on the north side of the building (view on a roof), however heating was on, it was not warm in the room (but we enjoyed the warm shower!)

We enjoyed the nature, taking our breakfast and dinner in the veranda with view into the montagnes; the hit was the visit of a local fox we got on the evening! we share our dinner with it, a great experience! We have read about great breakfast in Booking comments but the one we got on the 1st morning really boring, while other guests (bulgarian) got some traditional meals, on the next morning, we asked for the traditional breakfast and we got it: it was delicious. Dinner with traditional meals were great. Our host did not speak english but was nice and patient with us :-)

One of best views you can find in the village. The interior of the house is very idyllic as well, all details have been thought throughout.
