The lack of hot water in the room for 3hrs also there was so much chlorine in the pool that our eyes stinged from the air around the pool, so we didn't dare enter the water. The steam bath was not steamy and the finish sauna was out of order.

The spa can be improved. Outside jacuzzi was not working, the sauna was not at the proper temperature and the sweat bath was not working.

The place is fantastic, the apartment was clean and good equipped.

The bar in the SPA was closed so we could not order drinks. We needed to go to the restaurant which is far away. The water in the pool could have been warmer.

Very good food at the restaurant and good value for money. Room was expensive by Bulgarian standards (not british). Staff could have been more helpful and whilst this hotel was great, it was not geared up for non Bulgarian speaking guests

The airconditioning system was unable to cool the room below 26 degrees C. The restaurant personnel was not attentive.

Breakfast was excellent, with choices for every taste. We loved the pools, the fitness room, the saunas. The premises were clean and well maintained.

Air condition at the room didn't cool enough. Mattress was very soft. No elevator, we slept at first floor therefore had to lift our bags. The restaurant dishes can be better, also need to find a way to reduce the number of flies and mosquitoes (probably relate to the horses)

A very impractical decision of the interior designers to fold the toilet bowl almost under the sink. I can't imagine how a larger person could use it.

- There was an issue with the booking, I believe by booking.com itself, where instead of two 7-year-old kids we got somehow the option for one 12-year-old. Despite the fact that we have booked the deluxe studio which should be for four people and we were three (just me and 2 of my sons) I needed to pay an extra sum of money for one of the kids which was a bit strange for me.

+++ Pet friendly, which was the main reason to select this hotel. +++ The personnel. Especially the waitress that served us for 2 evenings. On the second evening when our kids were obviously tired, she brought us a table game to keep them occupied, without us even asking for such. Great professional! ++ The spa is small but nice. ++ Everything was very clean. ++The surrounding area is absolutely great and the garden of the hotel was very well maintained! ++ Around the hotel there is this path where one can walk the dog freely. ++ The horses are great as well as the instructors!

Nothing in particular. We checked in on Sunday and left on Tuesday, not sure how crowded it would be during a full weekend. Some of the dishes in the restaurant could use some improvement (in the way they are actually prepared)

the overall spa experience needs some improvement and we would definitely enjoy the option of a lobby bar or whisky-cigar room for after dinning drinks.

We had the most amazing time during our stay in Trakiec and we look forward to our next trip there! The entire team is super professional, friendly and extremely polite going above and beyond to meet the customers expectations. The hotel itself has lovely facilities with beautiful landscaping and green areas, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast and overall menu at the restaurant are very nice. The most impressive thing however are the majestic horses and the very well maintained and clean arena and stable. It was a pleasure to have horse riding lessons with instructors that care for the animals and are willing to teach you the subtleties of the sport! Specials thanks to our two instructors, Georgi and Bobi, the reception team for coordinating all our bookings (massages/horse riding lessons/ restaurant booking) -the short tour during our first day was lovely -and our charming waitress Maria :) keep up the amazing work and providing that 'family' feel to your guests. Half an hour from Plovdiv, this is the best place for a holiday away from the big city. Everything was at a very high level- service, rooms, food, overall ambience. We will definitely come back for the horse riding!

Please move the archery targets a little bit aside from the river. We lost a couple of arrows because of that and were charged for, which is not fair. There is plenty of space around the area in order to avoid that from happening.

Everything was perfect! Exceptionally clean SPA and rooms. Food was always good and reasonably priced. One can choose horse riding, archery or just taking a long walk on the eco trail around the premises.

Although the Complex offers washing, drycleaning and ironing services, perhaps there can be an iron and a shoehorn in the room. Otherwise there were certain details around the room and bathroom that kick your socks off! Like for example - the dark towel for coloured hair, or the complimentary fruits, tea and coffee! Even the treats for kids and the minibar delights were at a reasonable price!

Massages were excellent! It is easy to leave yourself in the hands of such dedicated proffesionals! Horseriding - the whole complex is about horses, taking care of them - feeding, cleaning, loving and riding them! The fact that you can freely walk around and get acquainted with them, feed them and learn all you can take in from the staff, is absolutely fantastic! This is especially suitable for kids (of all ages) as it helps them overcome fear and ease them slowly into the idea of riding such a big animal! They have another in-house guest - the most adorable cat you've ever seen, that knows its place and makes everybody feel at home! We are looking forward to next year's "Todorovden" - when the season for riding opens with a blast of activities and various events! The pool and spa area are an excellent addition and as the staff will tell you themselves. It is especially designed for the relaxation of those groups of muscles you have strained while riding!

The spa area was not very well heated and kind of confusing where is what.The water in the pool was too cold for our taste.The AC control panel and the alarm menu are too bright if are used to sleep in a fully dark room.They can drive you crazy.
