It is not a big thing but important nonetheless. The glasses in the room were not really clean. They were just wiped but not washed. It was the only thing I didn't like. It is a great hotel and, a great location. The glasses should be in closed backs showing it was washed.

I had upgraded my room and it was a great room. The bed was comfortable, the couches were comfortable, large shower and a bide with a toilet.

Small lifts not enough power outlets in the rooms, one light fitting not working in the room, for a five star hotel should offer more free coffee, tea and milk, not just creamer in a little packet

We had two rooms. For the elder kids on the first floor the basic room and for us and baby on the 5 th floor - executive room or something. Both rooms were very beautiful, but the cleaning of our room on the 5th floor was not good, one day they cleaned only the bathroom, the other day they cleaned everything, but didn't add shampoo and conditioner. The other thing with the room is that on the 5th floor you can't open the window and the air conditioner didn't work enough to cool the room. I asked for assistance, got a very polite but not informative answer, saying there is nothing to do with this now. The room on the first floor doesn't have such problems, they get good cleaning every day and were able to open the windows.

Very beautiful hotel with the vibe of old money. Excellent service, the staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast with excellent coffee. The best bathroom i've ever been.

Hairdryer at the bathroom was awful. I is time to renew it with a brand new one. That one is not suiting with a hotel like this. If an ironing machine and ironing board were available it would be great.

Except just a few very small details, Everything was splendid about the property. Location was perfect, room was comfy and staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was outstanding. I can't suggest any improvements.

The room was huge, with two couches, two armchairs and a desk chair. being on the seventh floor we had an excellent view over the park and towards the golden domes of the Alexander Nevski Cathedral. With both a good shower and a bath the facilities were superb. The staff were excellent, friendly, efficient and competent. They even remembered our names. Breakfast was relaxing and quiet with a wide range to choose from. Since the hotel is in the centre of Sofia it was within easy walking distance of the main sights and shopping area. Dinner in the evening was outstanding. It was so good we ate there twice.

My stay was enjoyable from before I even checked in, right through to after checking-out. The hotel reached out with some excellent advice and additional options ahead of my check in. As an international tourist, this was very well received. The service on arrival was outstanding, the room was above expectations and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was spot on. The hotel is in a very good position in town, with all key aspects for a tourist in walking distance, including great food options.

Room: could be easily renovated to feel cozier, decor and furniture is outdated and, although rooms are clean and the intention is clearly to evoke a sense of old-world grandeur, the overall effect feels somewhat antiquated, distracting from the warmth of the huge room. The duvet was way too small and entirely disproportionate to the bed and plush room. I expected something at least double in size and much fluffier. TV has very limited options, 1 music channel and basic news channels only, if you want to browse anything else it is on demand only. They have installed a system of paperless room service ordering through the TV. The idea is great, the implementation not so much, I encountered several operational hiccups. TV scroller would get stuck and I had to walk up close to the TV set to be able to scroll. When I added food items and went back to add beverages my order was deleted. Breakfast menu is only available during breakfast hours, which is entirely counterintuitive and created more issues than it solved. It was solved easily with the help of the excellent front desk staff, but in the end it took a lot more back and forths and more time and explaining than necessary. Food was great but expensive by local standards.

Staff: excellent, by far the best personnel in comparison with other 5-star hotels in Sofia. Room: huge, 60sq.m makes it one of the biggest hotel rooms out there. Bathroom: marble grandeur, very big and stylish. Bed: excellent comfort. Breakfast/Food: very good, probably the best I have had in Sofia hotels of the same range. Location: excellent, a 5minute walk to Vitosha avenue and close to everything.
