There are a lot of people in this hostel, mainly young men, who live there long-term and work in Sofia so it doesn't have a very social, touristic and easy-going atmosphere. Bathrooms are very basic.

The bathroom had a few things that could be touched up, but for the price it was doable.

The property was filled with like-minded travelers averaging mid to early 20’s. Additionally, they had special events nights for free for all occupants.

I like the Guest area It is cozy .. The kitchen has everything you need. Lovely people are there I would like to visit this place again.

The pillows were huge and overstuffed. I only got a couple hours of sleep. Also, there are several uneven flooring areas that seem hazardous.

Hostel was clean, quiet, and in an excellent location. Staff was helpful and friendly. The kitchen was fully stocked and spacious. Bathrooms were clean. The bed was comfortable.

A bit scruffy interior, finishings would do wonders. Smoking balcony next to the toilets was a terrible idea, because people were there smoking day in day out. Some sinks were not working. Needs some tlc for sure but the location and staff makes up for all the negatives.

Everything was cleaned daily. Staff was super nice. Location is amazing, couldn’t be better. Bunk beds had dimming curtains which was nice. Proper fridges yay! Improvement idea: remote work stations to the living room (tables, chairs, electrical sockets maybe a foldable table so it’s easy to make room for Friday band stuff). Free waffles weren’t a myth!

The only thing I kinda miss liked was the constant smell of cigarettes on the 3rd floor since the balcony door is never shut.

Typical communicative Hostel, with everything one needs. Curtains in your bed give you a bit more privacy and the floors, showers and bathrooms are cleaned every single day. Nice and helpful staff and a great location of the Hostel makes the stay truly enjoyable.

I agree that it was difficult to shower because there was little room to place my belongings. Also, having no locks on the room doors made me uncomfortable as anyone could enter the rooms if they just followed someone into the building.

The bathrooms weren't comfortable. The only place where you can hang your things, when you take a shower, is inside the shower, so you have to be careful to not wet your things.

No locks on room doors. Anyone can enter. Bathrooms at the end of the corridor with hot water in shower rooms but NOT in the sinks.

I am already staying in BlaBla hostel one month, and i cannot complain. The localization is good, price is very good, stuff is friendly and helpful (big thanks to Dalibor - positive spirit of the hostel). Kitchen is big, well equipped and comfortable. They clean every day, it is clean, fresh and pleasant. In addition, every friday they organize a live music evening (with free beer), which is very cool and enjoyable. At saturday there are free latino dance lessons which i also recommend and at monday you can eat some hostel-made pancakes (ofc for free). I totally recommend this hostel with all the inventory.

The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and it was too hot in the room even in April

10/10 for the location, 8/10 fro cleanliness however it was too hot even in April with no fan/AC etc. You have to keep the window open and the bed mattress was also pretty uncomfortable. The staff was very welcoming tho.

You are not in the city centre but the hostel is close to main touristical places. The hostel close to tram road.

- you need to bring a locker for your luggage box ( I was not expecting that and was not prepared, usually there is a code to set or key/card to lock it). - there was no access control to your room - everyone can enter because there was no key/card access system - the room door was squeezing during opening ( not a big deal in case your room mate is checking-in late at 2am in the middle of the night) - I would book that hostel again during my next visit because the cons are not so vital

- the location: next to Obred, Fabrika Daga, pizza restaurant, burger restaurant, dunner stall, gelateria on the next corner and the best bakery within 5 min &bread - the bed: comfortable mattress, good pillow (not flat one), warm blanket, stable two-level structure of the bed frame (in case you turn a lot does not make sounds) I totally recommend this place :)

I changed rooms because I extended so I found out some differences: some rooms don't have curtains at the beds and lockers are smaller in some rooms. Plastic dishes... Showers dont have the possibility to hang shower had. Small showers without possibility to change. One common bathrooms for the whole floor.

Location perfectly central and 25 min to train station. Big common room and kitchen. Some rooms with curtains at the bed (but some without?) Nice staff. Several offers like waffles on mondays and dance class on saturday. Several informations on trips in the area (great website!)

Had late check-ins both nights of my stay, who didn’t know how to behave with other people already sleeping and made a bunch of noise. The mattresses are very worn out, and uncomfortable.

Huge hostel in the heart of Sofia. Prime location, everything can be reached by walking. Very clean and tidy rooms. A small locker for each person.
