The AC in the room was not working, I think because it is connected to a central system which was not configured for cooling yet and we got hit by a heat wave that weekend.

The location is great and the rooms are comfortable. The staff was helpful and the restaurant is nice.

Probably was good, but old… not renovated for years. Room were dissented, except the bathroom. Shower was broken.. so taking a shower was impossible. Also the border to the bathroom was so small, so we were worry that we may flood the room

It's clear that the hotel needs a modern retouch. The full carpet which is still present on the stairs and first floor, was removed and never replaced on the second and third floors, outside there are a number of large broken stone flower pots and an unkept garden. Inside the room, and more specifically the bathroom, a similar situation: most of the water pressure from the shower was lost from a massive leak in the shower hose, the rest was lost due to limestone in the shower head, leaving me with little more than a dripple to shower with.

Excellent staff. As it is a big, circular complex with a hotel, large restaurant and wellness center, finding the proper entrance proved a little tricky, but the staff gladly assisted to escort me where I needed to be. The room itself was nice, big, clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast menu.

Negative was the noise in the morning because you hear absolutely everything even the smallest noise. Room hot, I didn't dare to start the old air conditioning unit, fortunately was not too much hot. Breakfast don't know, I did it outside. As its very cheap, I world say that I'm happy for the price-quality

The location is perfect in the centre of the town. Room very old but with all basic stuffs working (fridge too). Bed looks bad but I slept very good so the mattress was ok !

The hotel is located right in the downtown of the city. Very communicative place, from which you can reach any point you would like. The hotel is big, the rooms are okay, a bit of old furniture, but all good since I used the hotel only for overnight stays and breakfast. So this is fine.

Hotel is a bit oldish here and there, but the biggest minus was the staff, that needs to better communicate between themselves.

We stopped at the hotel for a layover on our way back home. It is a good place to spend a night over, the location is well situated, right in the center of the town. The hotel itself is nice, clean, spacey rooms and it has a lot of facilities for leisure. Too bad the SPA was in renovation. Maybe next time.

The Hotel is comfortable and the location is excellent for exploring the nearby mountains. There is a useful tourist office in the old mosque nearby and they have maps of the trails you can take.The museum of History next door is also worth seeing for the Thracian silver.

The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. Poor choice and cold dishes (eggs) at 9:00 am.

The room and the bed were really spacious. The view from the window was quite nice and the staff at the reception was super nice and friendly!

Very noisy ground floor bar/disco -- the booming and thumping was quite unpleasant and it went late into the night.

Very friendly and helpful front desk person. The room was very clean, and the bottled water in the room was most welcome. The breakfast offerings were excellent. The location could not have been better.

Because of the location, weekends tend to be noisy with all the music into the late hours.
