Excellent location in the city center. Friendly staff. There is parking (for an additional fee - 20 levs per day). No elevator. I liked the hotel and definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was not amazing - just normal. Could have more healthy options (more variety of fruit, sugar-free/vegan options). It is mostly jams, pastries, and other processed food, supermarket cookies, etc. I suggest food (such as meat and pastries) should be covered to stay fresh. There was only toast bread, homemade bread would be a nice touch. It is in a basement, so it also doesn't help for the best impression. It may be a bit overpriced overall since it is in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Nevertheless, I would stay here again, it was a nice place.

This is a beautiful property at the best location in Plovdiv, with many points of interest around. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was also nice and friendly. There is no 24/7 reception, but even though we arrived late, the self-check-in went smoothly. The Internet functioned very well. Taxi station just in front.

Very good A/C. Great WIFI. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Room was cleaned every day. There's paid parking about 50m before the hotel, but just drive up to the barrier and tell the guard that you're staying at the hill house, he'll let you through, find a spot up the street (note that a couple of meters up the street there's a no parking sign, so you can park from there and down the street up to the barrier. So you can't park in front of the hotel, but no problem in the rest of the street. ).

The bathroom needs a deeper clean. There was mildew on sink faucet and drain and mold around the shower. There is no door or curtain to the shower, so water would inevitably leak out of the shower area.

Most everything about staying here was great. Friendly staff, fantastic location to explore Old Town, quiet rooms, comfy beds and pillows, great breakfast spread, general cleanliness.

My room was on the ground floor and lacked privacy a bit in the daytime- it faced directly onto the courtyard where people could sit and see in. But this was not a problem as there were net curtains to draw across :)

Lovely hotel very close to the city centre of Plovdiv (about a 2 minute walk from the main high street). I stayed as a solo female traveller and this this hotel really unique and found it to be great value for money- the room was nice and spacious, very modern and clean (really lovely shower) and- importantly- my room came with a kettle and mini-fridge (for storing milk- and other goodies)- so there was easy access to tea (any English traveller will appreciate this). The building itself is unique and has some interesting history behind it :) Great air con controls in the room too in case you get too warm. The breakfast was lovely and varied with a really nice tea selection. The staff were very friendly too and one of the guys kindly helped call a taxi for me back to Plovdiv airport and then walked over to the taxi with me to check (in Bulgarian) if I could pay with card (I couldn't, but wouldn't have been able to ask that without his help). Overall, great value place to stay! I'd stay here again if I was ever to go back to Plovdiv. There is a Billa (supermarket) about a 5-10 minute walk away).

My only complaint was that the shower tended to overflow into the rest of the bathroom. This was only a minor problem, however.

Both the bedroom and bathroom were large, clean and very comfortable. The internet connection was reasonably good and the buffet breakfast in the dining room downstairs included a few local specialties (although I would have liked even more). Finally, the office staff were very friendly and kind enough to look after suitcases following check-out.
