Our stay at this hotel was truly outstanding. The staff did their best to ensure our visit was exceptional. They secured a convenient parking spot for us in a nearby parking location at a very reasonable rate, they were friendly and made us feel at home. They provided detailed directions, which were incredibly helpful as we arrived by car. The breakfast they offered was not only delicious but also accompanied by a top-notch coffee. The perfect start to our day! The location of the hotel was a major highlight as well, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Kapana, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. I can't recommend HillsHouse highly enough. The exceptional service, great breakfast, and prime location made our stay amazing. Would love to visit again.

This is a perfect spot in Plovdiv. Great room, friendly staff, great breakfast and a really comfortable stay. The guest house is unbelievably located right at the edge of the Old City and maybe a 2-minute walk in the other direction to the central pedestrian thoroughfare and some of the Roman ruins that dot the city. A 10 minute uphill walk and you’re in the heart of Old City, including the remarkable Roman Theater; a 2-minute all and you’re at the mosque; a 3-minute walk and you’re in Kapana. About the best located place I’ve every stayed, and offers every comfort a busy tourist can want.

All good. Except the bathroom shower doesnt have a divider so toilet bowl and all gets wet everytime we shower.

Very clean, bright and spacious. Location is right in the old town and convenient to just walk around. The lady at reception was also super helpful.

The old city area of Plovidiv is an amazing place to visit and this hotel is situated right in the best location one could stay in the middle of all landmarks and attractions. The historical style building is nicely renovated, the rooms are neat, new and clean. The staff was very helpful and efficient. The parking can be a challenge given the location, but the staff quickly arranged it all for us. This is by far the best place I have stayed in Plovdiv.

The only problem is the noise from the teenagers who gather by the church across the road. It seems to be their regular spot, they shout, laugh and play music until almost 3am.

Wonderful boutique hotel with a VERY comfortable bed. We had a room with a large balcony, which is priceless in the summer. The staff are wonderful, very accommodating.

They had two tv's turned on playing rap videos at 8am in the breakfast room,okay the sound wasn't on but why inflict that on people.

Hillhouse is perfectly situated in Old Town, close to both the higher elevation area with a great overview of the city and the shopping/restaurant district. The breakfast was very good and rooms were very comfortable.

As it is a renovated old building, there is no elevator.

Good breakfast, with fresh eggs, orange juice, etc. We had a modern suite on 3rd level, and it was very comfortable and quiet. The location is perfect for walking around in the historic old town of Plovdiv, with its old Roman ruins, cathedral, and many cute shops and restaurants.
