This is a personal preference, of course, but the pillows were too high for us, and the double bed was actually two beds with separate mattresses, which is now always comfortable.

The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations - it's looks brand new, with spacious mountain style common areas, with expensive finishing, good food, very kind staff, decently sized room and quite big bathroom. There is a kids room with some toys and puzzles which our kid liked. I enjoyed excellent affordable massage, but didn't have a chance to check on the SPA zone. Edelweiss is located at a walking distance from the Buzludzha monument, but bear in mind this is quite high in the mountain and you should consider winter conditions.

We accidentally broke a plate since the tray fell off our daughters high chair with it on. Because of this we were charged an additional 35lev. Seemed a bit excessive given the price of the hotel and that we also bought dinner in the restaurant twice.

Great hotel and location close to Buzludzha Monument. Restaurant served good food in the evening and for breakfast. Rooms large and clean. Nice sauna, steam room and hot tub area. Staff were helpful.

It's in a great mountain location set in a forest very close to the Buzludzha Monument. Apparently the communist elite used to stay at the hotel when visiting the monument. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

This is just a recommendation - it would be good to have some traditional Bulgarian options for breakfast such as banitsa or mekitzi.

This was our second visit. The hotel is very well designed and has beautiful wood carvings throughout the building. It is located in a wonderful forest so you are surrounded by trees. The room was very comfortable and clean and its design was matching the overall theme of the hotel, a great shower room too. There are lots of lovely details that the owners have thought of and executed. The staff was extremely professional and attentive. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. The wifi is fast and reliable. We would be definitely coming back!

The location is fantastic. The hotel is in the middle of a forest. It's peaceful and great for outdoor activities. Everyone in the hotel is extremely polite and professional. It's definitely one of my favorite places. I'm looking forward to going back there.

The spa centre was missing a dispenser for water and in my opinion it was not very clean, I did not even tried the jacuzzi for this reason.

The location is great, all landscape, the garden, the building and the room are beautiful, it is clean in the rooms, the beds are comfortable and you can park in front of the building. The cook is very good. The hosts are very polite.

The design of the shower is a bit faulty as it allows water to be splashed on the bathroom floor. Late check out option unavailable.

The hotel is located in a superb area, in the middle of the forest. We will go with the kids next time! The staff and the waitress are so so kind an nice. The bed are very comfy, the silence is so satisfying, you wake up with birds singings and nothing else. There are a lot of hiking/trekking trips to take, but also near by attractions reachable by car. The food was very nice and the atmosphere is fairy like.

It is a bit remote from the town, however, it is very neaby the monument. It is a must to see when you stay in this hotel.

We like the hotel very much. It feels like we are living in the forest and it is so peaceful. The hotel is very well decorated, small but elegant. And the price is so resonable. Not to mention the simple breakfast is so delicious. We like the milk and sausage. We'd love to come back if possible.

The hotel had big renovation and all the amenities correspond to the price. The breakfast was great and restaurant had a very good menu and a winery.

There is no elevator, you have to carry your luggage down and up the stairs. Conditions at the spa area could be improved.

The hotel is located right in the woods, in a beautiful natural environment. The rooms are pretty basic, but comfortable. We had enjoyed dinner, also. And breakfast is decent.

The only downside is the road to the hotel as we took the one coming form the Gabrovo. If you come from Kazanlak, everything is absolutely fine.
