There was a power cut for the first night, apparently it doesn't happen so often, so I was just unlucky.

Everything was very clean and they had a big kitchen and living room even with a piano in common area. I was on the ground floor so it helps with my big luggage since there is no elevator. Good bed, great shower with both separation with curtain and good water pressure. Proper heater, not the AC heater. Very warm in cold winter.

I found a hair on the spare blanket, stored in the wardrobe, so maybe the sanitation isn't perfect there

Three places were exceptional. On a 10 day thrip throughout Romanina and a short stay in Russe (Bulgaria) I had 6 or 7 places to stay. 3 were - having used a limited budget - exceptionally good. All in or near the center of the town. All walking distance from the railway station. (As general rule, Google Maps these countries is most times better than Apple Maps). At all these three very good places in different areas they exceeded expectations. And the hosts were reachable, listening and gave guidance to - most times outside - issues.

The shower drain might need a quick unclogging, or maybe just bigger holes in the cover. The water started accumulating rather quickly on the floor.

2nd time I stayed here, so that alone speaks volumes. Location is still superb, with everything within reasonable walking distance.

Host Degoin(sp) was attentive, proactive, helpful, and very pleasant. The location was perfect being just a 2min walk.to the west end of the very attractive historic quarter. Great kitchen and communal facilities too! Area is very safe and secure. Glad we stayed two nights. Thanks!!

Exceptional ! Situated on a quiet street, close to the city centre this property offers a place when you can rest after a busy day and have a walk in the city. Shared kitchen was very convenient for making a breakfast . Will definitely go back . Highly recommend it !

The street was a small street with holes but not a problem for me since I didnt come with my own car.

Great staff! Helped me a lot and allowed me to leave my luggage inside while i had other things to do in Ruse. Even helped me order a taxi! Location and price were very nice! Very clean and spatious space witn a comfy bed!

It's a fantastic building with interesting decor. Very clean, excellent internet, fully equipped kitchen, well maintained bathroom.The location is quite good, just a couple of blocks away from pedestrian streets. Walkable from the train station.

Impeccably clean and tidy room. The downstairs lounge/den is very cozy, and the communal kitchen is well-equipped. The courtyard offers comfy seats both in the sun and in the shade. I was particularly surprised by the staff's willingness to help. I'd forgotten my charger at home, but they let me borrow a spare one they had, and for my entire stay (ok, only 3 days, but still...). Although the reception isn't manned 24/7, help from the staff is only a quick message away. (The property offers a number for both English and French, and both are on WhatsApp also, so guests don't have to use international call minutes or roaming -- and the WiFi works like a charm.) :) Both the main entrance and the side door (in the court yard) require key-card swipe, meaning that random people cannot gain access to the premises, as well as there's CCTV on the entire premises. Vulnerable solo travellers will find this very comforting, I'm sure. In conclusion, a clean and well-maintained property, perfect for both a quick weekend getaway for couples/solo travellers, but also for a family trip.

It was a bit noisy during the night, with music audible from a nearby property until midnight. A few more power sockets around the room would also be a nice addition.

Superb hostel, located very close to city center and the main attractions, The room was decently sized, making great use of the available space. The bathroom was clean and sufficiently large. There was free parking on the street. The staff was friendly and responded well to all our requests.
