We absolutely loved our stay, but it is worth mentioning that there is not much to do in the area.

The hotel is great - it is very clean, the room is spacious and warm. The breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular, but it was fine. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and of course the wine selection. The wine tour was interesting and informative. The spa zone was very nice and the personnel was polite. We will definitely visit again.

We haven't been impressed by the kitchen unfortunately. The price is high which will be OK if the quality or at least the quantity were above the average! The wine is excellent!

We loved the place! It's super cosy, super clean and nice finishing, very well thought for all small details to feel comfortable! The Spa is just outstanding! I highly reccomend Midalidare Estate!

Could present few more options for an entertainment being such a distant location, spa is nice, but table tennis, billiard, darts, playstation, anything that could give a bit more fun! Cheers and keep the good work done!

Food, spa, staff, facility- excellent transformation with exceptional touch to detail. Food is unbelievable, wine reasonably priced against store tag! No surprise you barely find a free spot to visit!

We stayed 2 separate nights on the way to Black Sea and on way back. 1st night was perfect. Booked via booking.com. Spa and breakfast etc all included. 2nd night (booked directly at hotel) was the opposite. Everything was extra cost. We had to pay for pool and spa, breakfast and access to football area - all separately. Also they forgot 1 main course in the restaurant. When we asked we were initially told the kitchen is already closing! I complained that I needed something to eat. They eventually accepted the order and took another 20-30mins to bring it. Meanwhile the rest of the family had finished everything including dessert. I was the last one restaurant!! I don’t mind forgetting, but the initial reaction to say the kitchen is closing was not good. That coupled with all the extra costs for the 2nd night made for an extremely poor experience. Shame, because 1st night was so good.

Disappointed with the lack of communication from the complex, as the route from Sofia had a road closure which led to a 90km diversion, and when I got to reception to check in all they said was they thought that would have been done by now, this it totally unacceptable and soured my stay, I doubt I would use this complex again especially as there is so much more choice now

No room service during the stay- no drinking water supplied in the mini bar (and the village has no shops to purchase any basic food supplies, so at least drinking water should be supplied daily), no towels in the room were replaced, one toilet roll for 4 people with two children during the entire stay, room was never cleaned for the 2 days we stayed. The spa is very basic- no refreshments such as a water fountain even in the relax area. The spa bar was seldomly serviced- often impossible to get even towels, as there was no staff. The reception and other spa staff were very kind and helpful, however it seemed that the hotel were understaffed for the number of guests present. The restaurant was ok, but the service was quite disappointing. After returning a dish with uncooked egg (poorly poached with completely raw egg white) the cook came out of the kitchen and literally yelled at us that he has the best and most expensive sous-vide equipment and implied that we just don’t know what’s a proper poached egg texture. For the record, the previous evening we ordered a t-bone steak (supposedly prepared in the same sous-vide equipment) , which was horribly overcooked, and we decided not to mention it. The wine tour was ok, but also very basic. Some very good wines, but poor presentation. If you come with children, keep in mind that you have to bring any snacks and basic supplies with you, because there is literally nothing available for purchase anywhere nearby. As this property is quite isolated and all the food and entertainment options are limited within the estate, the expectations for quality and value are higher than what is being offered. Having visited other wine spas in Bulgaria and abroad, I’d think twice about returning to this one.

The green scenery was nice, the property itself was fairly well maintained.
