Entertainment team for kids was really cool! We were there every night after dinner and you could see how much fun the kids were having!

Apparently the hotel was short of cleaning staff this year. When cleaning was needed we had to ask for it. Smoking people in the outside bar and on the balconies - better to isolate them somehow from the rest.

The best hotel in Albena + super breakfast. Good idea they offer presents if you do not need cleaning.

There is no all inclusive option, but we had plenty of options for our lunch near the hotel; The indoor pool should be better cleaned as we felt a poor quality of the water.

Location - it is just near the beach; Rooms - very large rooms with everything you may need included; The facilities, including the pool for kids - it’s very entertaining; Parking - very safe and well organized; Staff - very attentive to our needs and to help us have a great stay.

room was not as clean as it should at a 5 stars hotel (there were parts of the toilet that seemed to be never cleaned, we asked one day for cleaning the room and we found a shirt in the middle of the floor, also bathroom from the pool was a little bit smelly).We also had a big spider web under the table. we didn’t had a coffee machine in the room, only the capsules. The person from the reception told us that will send someone with one, but never came. I’ve tried to enter the pool bathroom at 8:55 and the cleaning lady yelled at me and didn’t let me enter because it was opening only at 9 ( didn’t saw the schedule, the point here is that she could explain it nice instead of yelling) PS: all in all everything was good. If it was a 4 stars hotel probably I wouldn’t have mentioned this things. Anything else was very nice and we want to come back for sure😊

Everything was great and met our expectations. Comfortable room with a sea view, very quiet during the night. High quality and varied food. The pools are well maintained and our daughter loved them. The beach is also great. The staff were helpful and always available.

There were concerts/performance by the pool area almost every night. One of the nights it was running past 10.30pm which is unacceptable. Because of the loud noise we could not open our balcony door. One of days I had DND button on and one of the maids knocked on the door to ask when to come back to clean which is not ok. Burger bar at the pool is overpriced.

Location was excellent- right by the beach which was very convenient. Breakfast had a lot of options. Pool area is big. Overall pretty pleasant stay. Facilities were comfortable.

Overall, we were disappointed with the service. Room 202 we got first was full of ants. Reception knew about it, still they gave us the room, at full price. Asked for another room the next day, had to insist with the manager to get one. Second room was very nice, but the carpet was soaking wet. Reception very reluctant to help, let alone offer a different room. Cleaning lady put some towels on the carpet and that was it. As it dried, the carpet started smelling bad. I asked the next day they come and clean it. Had to ask twice, in the end a cleaning lady came to vacuum it, which did nothing for the moisture and smell. Luckily it was so warm that it dried out and stopped smelling in the next days. Reception staff overall not really forthcoming.

Food quality and diversity overall ok but leave the oil a bit less to all cooked foods or salads.

Good value for money overall. Location very good, facilities, clean, well equipped and maintained gym, sun-beds not too crowded which gives a relaxed intimate mood on the beach, nice clean maintained beach. Everything was very good and nice.

Although many of the staff employees were good at their duties, there were multiple occasions when the service from others was not satisfactory. Large percentage of the staff is not native Bulgarian, but from one particular country. This, by itself is not a problem, but some of these people do not understand Bulgarian and had very bad command in English. This makes the communication difficult and awkward. I would advise the Management to first, make sure that everybody is trained at the same standards and second, those with subpar language skills to attend some courses.

First time at this hotel and it met my expectations. Clean, nice food, superb location. Every evening there is a party and animations for the kids, which was good and they liked it a lot. Pool and water attractions were nice. Prices at the bars are not too inflated, which I find a good policy. Fantastic beach, I'd say, the best you can get in Bulgaria. Very good for children.

Although we paid for 2 adults and 1 child (almost 10 years old), at the beach we could only have 2 chairs, and were asked to pay for the third. I do not consider this normal.

The view from the room was amazing. The room was really big. Nice comfy beds. Good breakfast. The pools were warm and we had plenty of sits available.

Great services! The breakfast and dinner were very good, rich and varied. The room was clean, the pools were great as well. Really close to the beach, great view from the room balcony. The private pool was a plus!

The mosquitos. I know Albena is an ecological resort, but would be great for the authorities & hotel to take measures against the mosquitos which merciless bit me :)

Maritim is a jewel in Albena, the main reason we had such an amazing stay. Large clean modern rooms, amazing poolside, cleanest beach ever, top of the top restaurant. I want to congratulate the personnel, and mainly the most senior and dedicated gentleman in the restaurant (sorry I do not know the name). Dear Mister you are an inspiration to what it means loving what you do. All in all this place is on my list to come back to.

The restaurant, however, is not that good. Breakfast is fine, but dinner is a problem. Although dinner is also buffet, and food is OK, there is nothing to drink, not even water. You have to struggle to get someone's attention to order something, be it water or wine. By the time you have the drink, you either finished your plate, or is cold. Then again, another 15-20 minutes until someone comes and you can pay. Management and some personnel clearly favor a certain category of guests and give preferential treatment, so you get the feeling you are not treated fairly. There are better managed restaurants in 3 and 4 star hotels.

The hotel is great. Everything is well thought and done. Great location, beach, service... everything.
