Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BulgariaThe alcohol is free and some guests seem to be there just because of this. Some were drinking from the morning. Many people were there with their kids, so not really a good educational example. In addition, this makes price higher for everyone even for those that do not drink or drink just a glass of beer during the lunch and dinner time. Maybe, the resort can change a bit its politics about the alcohol consumption, e.g., putting some limits per day etc.
The resort was very green, the hotel location was good and the room size was good.

United StatesEntertainment could use variation and the daily schedule was the same. I’ve been coming here since 2008 when the property was managed by an Austrian hospitality company. This, most of the tourists were Western Europeans mainly from Germany and Austria. A few years ago the management transitioned to a Bulgarian company, and as a result, the majority of tourists are now Bulgarian and Romanian. I find the majority of them to be loud and rude (no concept of waiting in line at the buffet), reserving lounge chairs, etc.
Best resort for cost in Bulgaria by far. Big property, good food, great location in secluded bay but close enough to Sozopol if you want to go into town by taxi (5 km away).

BulgariaLack of wifi and bad connectivity within the complex. Even wifi that is available in the lobby is extremely slow. In 2022 the placement of the hotel is not a excuse, considering 4g working okay. Jakuzy and pool are not getting warmed, so you're heavily depending on the weather conditions. In vacation that's critical, every day matters.
Personnel is awesome, the kitchen is nice, huge complex with access to many kind of activities.

BelgiumThe beds have not been changed for the whole stay of 7 days. The food is often too fat. People are smoking in the restaurant all over. It is extremely annoying. We would propose to forbid smoking everywhere in the complex. Alcohol is served the whole day, which attracts some specific group of tourists, which are not always very pleasant to have around. It also creates somewhat bad atmosphere, especially bad when many of the tourists are families with small children. In addition, it makes it expensive for everybody since in the context of all-inclusive the people who do not consume strong alcohol are paying for the ones who drink the whole day. Maybe it is an alternative to have only beer and wine part of the all-inclusive formula. The people who want to drink strong alcohol need to finance it themselves.
The whole complex site is very nice, with beautiful plants and clean paths in between the different hotels. No passing traffic. The beach is really nice.

BulgariaThe room was a bit outdated and cleanliness could be improved. The food quality can be improved, especially the breakfast. The aqua park pool for the younger kids is very cold compared to all other pools. I don't understand why considering it's the main one kids want to play in.
The beach is amazing and clean, plenty of sunbeds (be warned that between 10 and 12 its hard to get one though); the common areas are spotless - pools, gardens; lots of outdoor space for walks, several playgrounds; the nature is preserved - the resort is literally in a forest; activities and animation for kids and adults are fun. Overall it's kids haven. It's very convenient you can eat and get drinks everywhere on the property so you don't have to walk back and forth to your hotel.
