How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Easy, friendly, clean. Good garage parking. Checkin easy, host friendly and great communicator. One of the best rentals we've ever had.

Highly recommend this place. Located in beautiful Kapana -close to restaurants, the old town and all the historic places we wanted to visit. The appartment was very clean and the host was friendly and helpful. The appartment has its own private garage, which is why i booked it in the first place ( parking in Kapana is practically impossible without the private garage).

Perfect location, walking distance from all main attractions, in the heart of Kapana district. The garage is a big plus. We will come back again to this apartment.

Only one thing. I have just one night to spent in the apartment.
Every room was clean and well organized. Location is in the heart of Kapana where every visitor wants to spent some time and the garage for this location is great! And at last (not by importance) Host was very responsive and and polite. I’ll be more than happy to visit you again!

Everything . The apartment was modern , very well designed and clean . The underground parking is a huge benefit when you are in Kapana . The system for self check-in was very convenient and the hosts were very friendly when we communicated .

To be honest, the apartment was not cleaned properly . I had to spend a bit of time cleaning the kitchen. Sorry to say that!
Very nice and centrally located apartment. One minute walking distance to the trendy area of " Kapana". I won't call this place amazing......but i would say it is good enough. Perfect location and is very quiet. Safe underground parking place.

Excellent apartment with a kind and helpful host. Extra arrangements made to allow us to leave the car after checkout. Great location in the city and fully equipped. Clean and well decorated.

We came for 1 week. The place is Well equipped. In the center of everything. Big,Warm and cozy, Just to come and enjoy. Everythibg that we asked We answered in the affirmative We had alittle problem with something,in 5 minutes the owners came and fix it. Fills like "home sweet home". definitely we will come back. Thank you so much for making our holliday so magnificent.

Everything was great!
Great place in center of Kapana in Plovdiv, great and safe safe garage, apartment was large, clean having everything you need. Feeling like home. I will definitely come again!

We have to mention this: the Plovdidv mosquitos are vicious 😱😀 have spray with you at all times, day or night.
Very clean, comfortable and very well equipped for a vaction stay. The dishwasher was such a bonus after couple of weeks doing dishes by hand 👏👌 Mosquito nets were super beneficial 👍 Very good communication with the host. As for location, we found it very good as it allowed park the car and walk all over the old town and the pedestrian area.

Everything was excellent. A location, communication with the host, easy check in and check out. The apartment is very modern and fully equipped. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridgider, TV, air-conditioning, all new. Comfortable mattress.

Everything about the property was great! The hosts provided that an apartment may be needed. I felt like I was at home and that impressed me even more! Very clean and very comfortable. I preferred it because it was in the center of Plovdiv and there was a garage where I could leave the car without stress where I would park safe! The bars and the shops are next door 2 minutes walk on the pedestrian street and despite the close distance there was no noise in the house. Thank you very much for the beautiful hospitality I would prefer it again!
