It’s an older rural property so facilities are a little tired. Caused us no issues.

quiet location, clean and simple, in the style of mountain cabins, we rested well. breakfast was good, a continental breakfast,the dinner served at the restaurant is well cooked and tasty. very good price-quality ratio the Rila monastery is close by and we had a peaceful and relaxing time after the long journey...

the bed was super uncomfortable - old, uneven, and difficult to get rest wifi was not working (there is poor phone coverage (Viacom) but enough to send a basic text)

The beds were not so comfortable. I believe at this price at least one can get a comfortable sleep.

The location was perfect and it was very near to the Rila Monestry (a tourist attraction). The people at the property are very friendly and helpful and independent they do not speak much English. You will also get a free breakfast with amazing views.

Uncomfortable bad, old sheets, poorly decorated room. Owners refused to serve breakfast before 8.30. Breakfast menu- over salty fried eggs and bread, no butter or cheese, shot of coffee with drop of milk on request only.

We had slight issues with the internet connection, which was resolved before we left. The rooms are slightly small but overall it's good value for money.

The Hotel & Restaurant are located in a beautiful area in the middle of the Rila Mountains, a short drive from the UNESCO Heritage monastery we well as many other sites and attractions. The staff were very kind and helped us sign in ahead of time. The food was local, homemade and delicious - also very healthy with many vegetables and salads!

I liked everything

The Breakfast was in large variety and tasteful as well as all food we had for lunches and dinners . I strongly recommend to the tourists who want to visit Rila Monastery to stop to the restaurant” Pri Mecho” and to enjoy very tasteful traditional Bulgarian food. Also I enjoyed the warm friendly behaviour of the owners Sisi and Asen.

There is a table in the room but no chairs. The wifi was not working. There is no fridge in the room. The mattress is really weak, I could feel the springs pressing my chest when sleeping.

Big bathroom, close location to the Rila Monastery. Late arrival is possible.

Unfortunately, both wifi and telephone data/ network did not function at all... But, for a night, it was ok to be disconnected from the rest of the world!

Family business with beautiful terrace and amazing traditional food. Great position for Rila Monastery, UNESCO.

It was family hotel and mechana with tasty, traditional food, music and beautiful view on mountains (river is audibile). Host was very open and helpful (e.g. she borrowed us map and guidebook, helped with finding bus stop, bus timetable, best way to Rilski Monastyr and paths around). Last day very quickly she made for us the best breakfast ever - at her expense! Even if rooms aren't as in 5-star hotel, I recommend this place very much!

It's a bit far from the Rila Monastery.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I came to the hotel with a bad stomach virus and the woman there made me tea and food specifically for dealing with stomach aches. They were very attentive and kind. Also the room was big and clean.

Restaurant below was noisy until 1 am, I had to ask them to be quiet. Also, couldn't open window due to smoke from cooking meat. Internet virtually didn't work. Host wasn't so nice.
