Hotel Rila offers a modern and functional stay experience. While its exterior may appear simple, step inside to discover a pleasantly designed interior. Though the rooms aren't overly spacious, they are well-appointed and provide a comfortable retreat. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, and the breakfast served is of high quality. Plus, the convenience of free parking just outside the main door is a definite plus. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Rila for a satisfying stay experience.

Large choice for Breakfast, shower was also great even thought after it the floor was flooded as there is no door or curtain. Room had a nice view and was renewed.

The place is pet friendly but not entirely. We had to have our breakfast (included) in turns because the dog was not admited in the breakfast room, even it is a terrace there. The lady in charge with the breakfast was rude not only to us but to other guest too. She should be replaced.

We had a nice stay at Hotel Rila. The room was big and clean, the location is right in the city center and the breakfast was good as well.

The bed wasn’t that comfy, only provided a thin sheet and the fridge buzzed every half hour throughout the night. The music from the bar/restaurant outside went on quite late too so neither of us got a decent sleep. We heard there were some natural hot spring hotels close to the Seven Lakes cable car too which might be a better option?

The spa, once found as its in the basement, is lovely. Includes hot tub, pool, sauna, steam room and an outdoor pool which was cooler than indoor. Breakfast was decent - plenty to choose from and the setting was nice. Location is a bit out of the way but equidistant from the Monastery and Seven Lakes cable car which is why we chose it. Town centre has little happening, there’s a busy bar/restaurant nearby. Parking is through the barrier - pick up a ticket from the machine and reception will validate on checkout. Would have been good to have been told this in advance though as there was a parking attendant dishing out tickets at the parking place close to the hotel.

The spa facilities were great. Everything was clean, including the pool area. Hotel's restaurant had good food for a fair price. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the mountain view.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area. There are parking places. The rooms are clean, big enough. It is a spa zone with indoor pool and also an outdoor pool. At ground floor it is a playground zone for children. The personnel are very friendly. The breakfast was a lot, good and varied. In the future when we need an accommodation in the area we will stay for sure at Rila Hotel. We strongly recommend the Hotel Rila.

The decor in general could definitely use an upgrade - a new paint job, maybe some new furniture, etc. The bed was very squeaky. Breakfast was bland and did not consist of many options. They could do with some more juices. The breakfast area wasn't quite clean, as there were crumbs on several chairs and tables. The toiletries offered were disappointing.

The hotel was very centrally located. Staff were polite, even inquiring whether I enjoyed my stay. My room offered a wonderful view of the Rila mountain and it was cleaned quite nicely. There was even a bathrobe and slippers, an electric kettle, and a fridge.

in the middle of the town. we could park our motorcycles in front of the entrance, they have 24 hours desk service, so it was super safe for the bikes. Good food in the restaurant.
