This place couldn’t have felt more like home. Everything was set up to feel like going to your grandmas house. The kitchen has a ton of spices and kitchen wear. The whole atmosphere is incredibly conducive to meeting people, with a large table in the middle of the common area. The location is up a few stairs but it keeps you off the main road so there’s no noise but you’re also welcome if it in the center of it all.

They should have warned you about the fact there was no water. Even when I half undressed and asked where the bathroom was they still didn’t warn me!!!

You have bathrooms with toilets and showers in 2 places (4 in total), but two of them are very small. It is not a really big inconvenience for some people, but it's a thing to keep in mind. If you come with the personal car, it might be tricky to find a long-term parking spot.

The place was amazing, with great view, central location and cozy and artsy decor. It was clean and with socializing space for those who want to chat, work or play board games, or just to chill and read. You have pretty much all you need for a few days stay, including a washing machine and coffee and tea, but also kitchen stuff so you can cook 😊

The air is a bit dusty although there wasn't any dust on the furniture but this is a very old house with a lot of decoration and paintings so there is a lot of stuff that could gather dust. The air conditioners also must be regularly cleaned so that people with allergies or asthma won't be triggered. Also some windows need to be fixed. It will be good to have more hooks in the bathrooms for hanging clothes.

It's very stylish. The place has a great atmosphere. The bathrooms on the second floor are comfortable and clean. The beds are comfortable with clean sheets. There is a well supplied kitchen. The view is great. It was quiet and warm. The location is perfect.

The Rooster Hostel had a great vibe, it was small enough to feel like you knew everyone staying. The lady that greeted us when we arrived was very welcoming. The beds were super comfy and the room was warm. There was nice coffee and tea

I didn't dislike anything, this was honestly the best hostel I've stayed in.

The location was incredibly centric. The views were fantastic. The rooms were cozy and spacious. Also, the hostel itself was very cozy. Full size kitchen and dining room, very good showers and clean place.

Great little place with lots of charm. Eclectic antique decor. Great staff, very helpful. Convenient to sights, restaurants, and not too far from the train station.

I was not used to the type of shower which seemed to be common locally. The shower is not located away from the toilet and has no curtain nor partition. So the toilet and the bathroom floor can get quite wet. I needed to use the floor mop to dry the floor after each shower. Having said that, it is a minor issue which I got used to quickly. I enjoyed staying at this hostel tremendously and would highly recommend it

Location- in the old town, near to major sites and bus stop Facilities- full kitchen, free washer, open and inviting common space. Plenty of hot water Room- there are no shared rooms. I had a two-person room with a double bed. It was roomy, quiet and very comfortable. Staff- Orin and Lucy were both extremely responsive and helpful. Before I even arrived in VT, Orin helped me call the bus station about information on buses to Bucharest. Lucy answered all my questions about the town and helped me with getting a taxi to the bus station

A spotless place in a perfect location. Staff were really lovely, the lady even made me a welcome coffee when I arrived - this was very welcome after my long train journey! It's within walking distance from all the main sights and the bus and train stations. Room was cozy, just the right temperature and I remember the bed being especially comfy.

The bathrooms were quite cold, one did have a heater which didn't work. Wouldn't be an issue outside of winter though!

Bed covers were a little too small for bed, kept falling off, heating could be better, but its an old building, so not much can be done about the roof insulation. Check in could have been better, had to wait one hour, as they were out.. Instructions could have been given in advance so i wasnt left in the cold.

The bathrooms are really odd because the shower is basically in front of the WC with no separation whatsoever.
