It is a bit tricky to find park place.

Royal Hotel is a wonderful place in Varna. It is a few minutes walk from the heart of Varna. The port Varna is very close as well with its variety of restaurants and entertainments. The central railway station is located in a short distance too. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Bathroom is clean and large enough. It’s equipped with everything you need. We stayed at the hotel just for one night and didn’t manage to enjoy the spa quarter. We definitely will be coming back in our next trip to Varna. Don’t forget to enjoy the amazing breakfast and great coffee in Burov cafe.

Everything perfect

The wonderful buildings and interior decoration , the high quality finish to detail from the furniture , fabrics, pictures to the light sockets, everything you needed to relax. Bed was clean, mattress comfortable. The fastest hot shower, great sanitaryware. Special tourist tea with herbs.Parking spot in front of door. Amazing restaurant just across road . Different breakfasts each day from English, French,Continental to Royal .. Lift to room . Will return

Charming experience in the nicest part of the city. The hotel is impressive, artsy and unique. Burov cafe on the 1st floor is perfect, and there are great restaurants and cafes very nearby. Service was awesome, thanks to the kindness of Stanislava and Georgi. If you plan to stay in Varna- it should be your choice.

😅 One night I had to kill 4 mosquitoes and I only drink black coffee. They offer 3-in-1 sachets but i didn't need them.

I felt like a VIP from beginning to end. Easy walk to the port, rhe beach and a few good restaurants. Very stable WiFi for zoom calls. Check in was very relaxing. View was great. Lots of sun.

We were actually due to fly home and our plane was cancelled so we needed a 1 night stay within easy access back to the airport the following morning. It was so very handy to be close to food and drink places. Near to the beach too. The staff at reception were very nice and helpful too, booking us a taxi to return to the airport. Also due to a cancelled flight home they let us check in early. Very much appreciated as we were so tired. We enjoyed our short time in Varna and would now like to return, will definitely look at this gem of a hotel for when we do. Thank you

The door handle was falling off in the bathroom. We had to pay 15lev extra to park the car in front of the hotel.

The design makes you feel like you're back in time or in a book with balls and fancy dresses. The bed was pretty comfy. The staff was helpful, I asked for an iron and they brought it to my room along with the ironing board.

What's there not to like? :)

Spacious, retro style appointed corner room with two small balconies offering different views over central Varna. Classic iron cut room's key as opposed to ghastly magnetic cards used in most other hotels these days. Ornamented wooden furniture, Comfortable King size bed. Small persian-style carpet. Hotel's coffee shop serving wide range of a la carte breakfasts from healthy granola and yoghurt to classic English with a Bulgarian twist or two, making it even tastier than most English breakfasts served in England. There was no need for me to use spa facilities during late summer's stay as hotel's excellent location is only a 10 minute walk to Varna beach, but I trust they are also offering elegance and quality typical of the entire establishment. Finally, I very much appreciated an option to make a reservation without providing a credit card no. and pay on arrival instead. In a cash-based economy such as Bulgaria's this was both practical and yet another reminder of the old world's bygone era whose values and practices Hotel Royal is so successfully aiming to reflect in pretty much all they do.
