We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

BulgariaWe stayed for two nights and there was no hot water during our stay. The problem wasn't solved and in the second evening we were told that they know about the problem but unfortunately there is no one to fix it, and that this is the smallest issue.
The location, the food in the restaurant, and the staff in the restaurant were great.

BulgariaOur room wasn’t really clean. There were spiders, ants and spiderwebs. If it was just my husband and I, it wouldn’t have been such a problem, but we were with our two-year-old child.
It was peaceful and beautiful, with wonderful views and good wine!

RomaniaI was very disappointed after coming back to this location. I couldn’t occupy the room I reserved, the jacuzzi wasn’t working, the saunas weren’t heated. The restaurant prices went up. A year ago when I went for the first time was wonderful. Such a pity!

RomaniaThe rooms were full of smelly bugs. During our first night there we caught about 10-12. Obviously the sleep quality wasn't great because of this. The breakfast was very poor, given the accommodation cost. You had two choices - cheese pie or continental (this means one boiled egg, some cheese, some meat, a few slices of cucumber and tomato, jam and butter). The wine was bad as well, except for the 2012 bottles.
Breathtaking view over hills, vineyards and Danube. The perfect sunset. Remote location, away from the main road. Both the room and the bathroom were quite large. Also, all the rooms have a great view. Friendly staff. The restaurant has a long and varied menu.

United KingdomSince our last visit in 2016 where we met the co-owner of this beautiful hotel, i am horrified and saddened to report on its decline in hospitality and general service. The staff and quality of its restaurant have deteriorated to a point that we will not return and not recommend to friends let alone family.
The location cannot change. It is one of the best in Bulgaria

RomaniaThis is a place mostly for families with children (pool area noisy) At the restaurant, only few choices for glasses of wine, not terrible. Poor breakfast (no open bar). If someone is allergic to bees, not a good place to stay on the terrace.
The view is beautiful. Food quite ok, however more expensive than in a good similar restaurant in Ruse.

Romaniathe constant souther green stink bugs that seems to get in the room somehow. They roam all aroud nature in full honesty but it is a bit annoying when you cannot get them out of the room... I was expecting to be able to buy wine for home... not at bar price...
