The boss left the location in 2 or 3 mornings and no one informed us and the staff said they are not making breakfast if he isn't there. Also we had to call someone in order to talk, because the door was closed at the place they were serving the food. Out of 4 days, we had breakfast for one day and it was ok, not perfect, but still good. The room didn't have a king size bed, there were 2 beds next to each other and looked like a bigger bed. We managed to sleep together like this, but it wasn't the option we would have chosen.

The rooms were renovated recently and it was very clean, looked good and the view to the fortress was absolutely amazing. Also the host was very kind and called me to confirm the reservation for the room and make sure everything is okay. Also when we arrived he came and got up in the car with us and showed us the way, because there were some constructions around and we couldn't find the way with the GPS.

Excellent value for money! The family hotel is in the old town, a quiet area and very closed to handicraft and coffee shops. We had a very clean and modern family room in the new building, not very fancy but the view over the Tsarevets was great. We could see the light show from the balcony :). The owner helped us with the parking which is quite difficult to get in the area, even with payment. The restaurant of the hotel serves a decent breakfast and overall our weekend break was great. The rating on booking.com really reflects our evaluation of the accommodation.

The breakfast is good, you can just ask the menu in advance to make easier your choise in the morning(is not included in the price of the room); the room is clean and cosy, our was quite large and we also had a small garden just perfect for us, and mostly for our dog; the parking is small but if you get a place is just great, you can do most of visiting on foot; is also free of cost, both the parking and the dog! the hosts are very nice, all services must bee paid in cash, there are several ATMs where you can withdraw; enjoy your visit!

The cleaning in the room could have been better, as there was some dust on the floor, but not very disturbing. Also, I did not like the bathroom, our room (10) had only a shower, without curtains or anything and when we showered, the whole bathroom was filled with water

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the old city center. This has also a downside, the way to the hotel is quite steep and you have to be a good driver to access the parking spaces, which, by the way, are next to the hotel. You can only pay by cash. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are big and spacious and the value for money is great. I would for sure book another accommodation if I visit Veliko Tarnovo again.

Great Hotel in the old center of the city just 5 min walk to the castle. Have a Private parking that is very important. The room is with everything new and a great view! Really love the name of this hotel! Highly recommend this hotel, you will not regret!

The mattresses on the beds felt a bit too soft for our taste, but that is more or less a question of personal preferences. Besides that, all was fine.

We could have had breakfast at the hotel, but most of the time the restaurant seemed closed. The lights in the two adjacent rooms did not go out independently, so it was very inconvenient if someone wanted to sleep while others stayed until later. There was a nasty smell in the bathroom after one day.

The apartment was spacious enough, with an amazing view over the fortress. The host was helpful in finding us a parking space in the piazza beside the hotel and recommended us the best restaurant in town.

We had a nice apartment with a nice view out the side to the ruins and church, lit up at night. It was comfortable and spacious. We had parking on the premises and access to breakfast for a reasonable fee. It's near the shops and restaurants and within walking distance of many of the historical sites.
