The room description stated we would be given slippers, but there weren't any. Thankfully, we brought our own, or we wouldn't have been able to use the pool.

The hotel really has that "village" vibe, with several bungalows surrounded by greenery and the restaurant and spa in a separate object. It is clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good.

The spa center is nice. The rooms are OK, bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Coffee and tea in the room are always nice to have. The complex is nice and mostly quiet. Parking is also convinient

Regarding villa 8. Room a lot smaller than usual. Water coming out of the shower cabin all over the bathroom. Only one coffee capsule, regardles of number of days. No refills. The yard outside the balcony was like a scrap yard, filled with old junk. Long hair inbetween the sheets.

I was disappointed with the Wi-Fi. Initially, we were given a room where there was no internet connection at all. Later, after discussing with the reception, we were offered another room where, although we were able to connect to the internet, it kept disconnecting constantly and didn't work properly.

The room is large and spacious. Zone is a very good one, close to Sofia Ring Mall. The breakfast was good. There was heat in the room, there was a coffee and tea maker and a mini fridge. The yard is extremely beautiful with a lot of green space.

The wifi in my villa was more off than on. The first afternoon it wasn't working. The reception was closed after 8, so there was no possibility to report it. I reported it in the morning and they said that there was a technical problem and they will solve it. The next afternoon the wifi was working, but after 8 it was broken again. I find it totally unacceptable that you know you have a problem and you do not prepare a back-up...

One of the facilities was closed,The food was average, but some of the other people using the facilities made the rest of us uncomfortable with their excessive public display of affection.

There were bits and pieces which he didn't quite enjoy. Room was clean and very comfortable, but unfortunately we noticed some cracks on the roof and floor. Also, food in restaurant was amazing, but unfortunately, tables were dirty, and staff acted a bit weird.

We have really enjoyed the location and facilities such as spa. Hotel looked more like small village which was pretty cool in our opinion. The food in restaurant was impeccable and we enjoyed everything that we had ordered. Compliments to the chefs!! Room had a balcony, was clean as well.

The room was great aside from the over use of strong fragrances and room fresheners, which we found to be very common in Bulgaria. The facilities like the pool and spa seemed un maintained, but it was February which may have been the reason. The restaurant had odd decor with fake trees and vines, which was a little much and didn’t feel clean. The floor was sticky and grimy. Shoes would stick to it when walking around. Breakfast was limited for those who don’t eat pork.

Room was big, spacious, comfortable and clean. Very large bathroom. Convenient location in Sofia and not far from airport which is what we needed.

- This is not necessarily the hotel's problem, but... the moment we stepped into our villa (each villa has about 8 rooms) around 2 pm there was a strong smell of the w.e.e.d. in the hallways coming from one of the rooms downstairs. We decided to ignore it since we were planning to spend the day outside, although the smell was slowly coming into our room upstairs. When we returned later that night the smoke inside hallways was visible and you couldn't breathe. The smell was so strong that our room stank of w.e.e.d. too. It was almost impossible to sleep without opened terrace, but it was a cold March night so we couldn't keep it open the whole night. The hotel needs to do a serious check-up on smoke detectors as this was unacceptable. - The same guests (we believe, as it was also coming from downstairs) played loud turbo folk music the whole night until around 1 am when someone came to argue with them... - The hotel is old, and while some furniture is newer a lot of it isn't so you never have that feeling that everything is sparkly clean - One side of our bed had a sag

- The location was near the road, and as we came by the car was convenient for us. Almost all of the villas were away from the road, so you'll have the ''in the nature'' experience - The staff was lovely - SPA exceed our expectations! - We stayed in a deluxe double room, which had plenty of space - Breakfast was amazing - Overall excellent value for the money, we will come back!

No heating, just the aircondition which was not enough. We were told only the second day that the heating was on remont. Nevertheless, when we complained, they put it on. In the middle of the night the alarm turned on (somebody was smoking in the room obviously). It was very disturbing.

Tha Spa was nice and the breakfast was very good. The rooms are nice but we didn't have heating the first day.

Only one or two saunas operating, had were not which was disappointing. Pool OK, but not as big as I hoped.

Rooms in blocks in the grounds, was not expecting that in Sofia.

In the room I stayed in, the radiators were not working, but it was warm, and the air conditioner had a heat setting. The only real trouble was that the hotel has spa access, but nowhere to dry wet swimsuits and towels. There was no laundry service available on site either. Otherwise all good, some rooms might need a bit of repairs and refurbishment but I believe they are already doing it in the off season (January) so that's good. The location has a great view of Vitosha mountain, but it's a little bit tricky with public transport, so check the location and if it suits your needs before you stay.

Tsarsko Selo is a cool resort in Sofia. Stays are in mini guest houses of 3-4 rooms. Great view of Vitosha mountain. Amazing breakfast. My most favourite part was the spa facilities really well built with good interior, not too busy, very relaxing and even had an infrared room. Good place for families, solo traveller and couples. I worked from abroad, so it also works for digital nomads. On site of the hotel there is an indoor and outdoor pool(open in summer), restaurant, bar. Also a football club and a physiotherapy and sports injury clinic is also there, where you can book some health treatments. The staff were friendly, but spoke little English when I stayed. This could be due to staying on an off season. But overall - I RECOMMEND TO STAY AND ENJOY!
