The restaurant staff is at a beginner level but no Major issues. We were all there at one point in time. The room was a bit cold but managed to fix it with the a/c.

The hotel has a wonderful design and everything is new. The restaurant serves great and quite varied food. We didn’t get to use the pool but it looks great. Rooms are big with big bathrooms with everything you need. I accidentally booked for 2 ppl instead of 4 and they matched my booking price with no issues. I would say it is one of the best hotels in the area.

That i booked a room for 3 but it was sooo small for 3, so we had to change it with an apartment (with extra payment of course) and it was all good after that :)

Next to the hotel there is a construction site, which is nosy, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

The food was very tasty, lunch and dinner very good. Best bed in a hotel, with very confortable mattresses. Everything very clean, lovely decorated and the view from the upper floor is really beautiful.

The cleanliness of the beach could have been better. Not sure if this is also during the mid-summer or just because it was the end of the season, after a summer full of customers. While the lifeguard was always cleaning the side of the beach of algae, where the umbrellas were, would have been nice to be cleaned every now and then of cigarette filters and fruit leftovers etc. It was not extremely dirty, but taking in consideration the whole experience and the perfection they’re aiming for, it is the only thing I would love to see changed/improved.

The property is exactly how it looked in the pictures (most of the property have their pictures improved massively)! I could not believe the details of the property, every corner that you’ve looked at was just fabulous. The food was really good! They have the same fixed menu (or at least now, mid Sept) from which you’re choosing at lunch & dinner. I also must mention that ALL the staff from the restaurant were super careful and nice. Really impressed, specially that after reading reviews before my departure, I was expecting for the staff to be all over the place. Maybe it helped also that we went mid-sept, after the school started, and there were not too many customers. But for us, they’ve done great!! The beach is close, just exiting the hotel, going down on a public road, then a pedestrian patio on some steps and you’re arriving at your section of the beach, which is quite segregated. You get your umbrella, towels and chairs, which was great! And there are very clean toilets down the beach and a small & nice bar to get some refreshments. Also quite happy with the fact that there was a lifeguard all the time specially for our little beach, and they were very observant. P.S. if you are going there, you can also visit Aladzha Monastery, which is only a few min distance by car and is something rare to see.

No lights in the exterior parking.

Minimalist architecture. Nice decorations. Simply clever :). The trees that surrounds the hotel are beautiful and coexist with the building. Very good example on how to approach the architecture of a building with minimal impact on the surrounding nature. Remote beach, you have the impression that the beach is limited to fewer people. The staff is there to help and you feel welcomed. The restaurant is a good option if you don’t want to wander. I felt like umani :)! There is also a kids play room. Me and my family went there because of the hotel.

Some things in the room were not functioning correctly: the Nespresso machine was draining, and the sink faucet was loose.

Breakfast and food in general at the restaurant were delicious. The quality price report is correct.

Not enough parking lots - we needed to park most of the time on the roadside which was badly lit at night . No toilets or showers for pool area. No proper fitness room ( I saw 2 or 3 ergometers in a room without natural lowlight that was turned into a playroom for small kids) .

Modern + pleasant interior and exterior, pool, restaurant area, free access to beach . Friendly personnel ( mostly young , not very experienced , but made up the lack of experience with friendliness)

Everything. The room is spacious, modern decor with amazing view of the sea and at the same time it’s quiet, secluded and with green vegetation around. It doesn’t feel like you’re in Bulgaria, and rather feeling like you’re in Bali somehow.

The restaurant staff weren’t bad but clearly inexperienced and a little clumsy. Almost didn’t know what to do. It’s not a reason to not visit Unami but some staff training would help this fantastic hotel.

Lovely modern, clean and architecturally beautiful hotel. The location is a little tricky to get to but the view and peace is worth the effort. The front desk staff were very welcoming too.

Regardless of the hotel - it doesn't depend on them, the road to the beach and the environment is not great,but also not the worst. The trail to the beach takes about 10 min, and is a bit too steep for people with small children as well as elderly. Also the environment is not friendly, nothing to see around,also a construction site near by. Also, the parking is very small, like 7 cars, but it's fine to park in the street, it is quite remote, no danger or lifting.

The hotel and its design, the staff, the service, the food-all was amazing, you get immersed in an experience that can change your mood if it's bad. It is a very beautifully designed placed, immersed in nature and part of it, with wounderful attitude from the staff. Loved every minute spent there.

Hotel Umani went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Everybody from the reception to the housekeeping staff was welcoming and friendly. We hope to be back soon!

Great swimming pool (from slate tiles), but drowned under high pine trees and without sunshine. Far away from Varna centre with tricky directions how to get to the hotel. No beach esplanade. Mostly served breakfasts with other options severely limited. Some breakfast staff members very poor in English - sign language had to be used.

A modern hotel facility, beds great, very quiet place, spacious room, hotel restaurant, average parking, non-overcrowded private and clean beach about 200 m from the hotel, with tasty and affordable food available from a beach mini restaurant, beach towels available at the reception. Surely great for families with small kids. Hotel restaurant open until 10 p.m. No night life in the area.

Pool area was not clean, chaises and tables were dirty. Restaurant staff were inexperienced and communication was sometimes difficult. Parking area in the back was totally dark and surroundings were smelly.

The view, that freaking amazing view, definitely worth the extra money. The staff were extremly friendly and happy to help. Additional nice features: free parking, private beach, sunbeds and beach towels available at your disposal. Big shout out for the restaurant manager, give that man a raise and make sure he is appreciated.

Not so many ammenities: no gym, no spa, just accomodation and restaurant and the pool The services are not at the level of the design. This hotel is not for family with small kids because it is on a hill and it’s hard to walk to the beach with kids.

Amazing design Location in the forest, sorrounded by trees and 5 min walking to the beach Fine dining at dinner, except the pasta which need to be improved because are overcooked and not so tasty It’s a very nice vibe because all the staff is young and nice.

There is room for improvement but we saw real preoccupation of the GM in taking care of the guests and taking the suggestions into account. We have no doubt each time we will go, this gem hotel will surprise us in a nice way!

We loved this hotel! Very nice and modern design, clean room with an amazing sea view! We loved the food the beach and the beach bar (tasty snacks & cocktails ).The staff was very helpful and nice. I had a health issue during my stay and they were extremely helpful in restoring my health and not loosing our vacation. We appreciate a lot all the efforts in making our stay delightful.
