Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe dined at the restaurant with high hopes of enjoying a delicious meal, but unfortunately, our experience was the worst ever we had. Upon ordering, we opted for the chicken fillet and fries, however, when our meal arrived, we were dismayed to find that it was completely undercooked. The chicken was raw and pink, posing a serious risk. It was not only unappetizing but also unsafe to consume. The waitresse did not speak english and could understand anything, despite showing him the chicken. He did not acknowledge the mistake and offerings a sincere apology. PLEASE DO NOT EAT IN THIS RESTAURANT FOR YOUR OWN SAFE. Planning to eat something before you arrive at this place, as there are not any other restaurant nearby. When he brought the bill, the chickens were included in the bill, despite not being eating and complaining about it, but unfortunately, we had to pay for it.
The room was ok and very nice location.

The setting in the mountains was beautiful and the position of the bungalow by the river was very restful

SpainOur stay was in early January and the weather was freezing. When we got to the room, the radiators were not working and the receptionist turned the AC on to heat the room up. Right before we went to bed, the AC broke. We tried to fix the AC and could not. Then tried to find someone to help but there was noone. We slept in our jackets and couple of layers of blankets. Until the morning the room got colder and colder.
The location was nice.

BulgariaThe maintenance of the hotel is really bad, and so is the service - both administrative and at the restaurant. Our reservation was messed up, and the only excuse we received was that some new colleague at the reception did not know what she was doing. In our bungalow, the bathroom door's lock was broken, so the door could not be closed, let alone locked. Тhe bathroom fan was not working and the window was sealed. The TV remote was also broken and fixed with tape - it was not working either. And the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Some light bulbs were missing and there was an overall feeling of neglect and carelessness.
The location of this place is great, right next to a river, amidst big trees, and 15 km away from Rila Monastery. The bungalows are spacious with little terraces looking towards the river.
