I have made that reservation for my parents. They were very happy and satisfied with their stay at this property. They had to be in a double room but they've got an upgrade and got an entire apartment for free. Place was nice and quiet, with a very friendly hosts. My parents were also very satisfied with the meals they have got there - big portions and freshly cooked dishes.

Vis Velika is a hidden gem you don't want to miss out on, especially if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet stay, with beautiful nature surroundings, amazing views towards the mountain and the sea and delicious home made food. The rooms are clean and cozy, all of our necessities were provided for, and our hosts were simply amazing! They were super welcoming, took care for us like we're family every single day, and prepared delicious home made breakfast ❤️ We genuinely felt like home and would visit again for sure in the coming years. Rumy is excellent host, she made great breakfast (domestic ingredients, home made "banica" and "buhtečke" :) and also dinner (fish from Black sea and tomato from her garden).

We loved staying at Vis Velika. Rumy - the host, made us feel at home. The room was very clean and the view was stunning - one one side Strandja park, on another - the sea. Make sure to try the food in the restaurant. Definitely going back there.

We have never been in more welcoming place. The host is the nicest person imaginable. The breakfast was always a delicious authentic Bulgarian dish made with local ingredients. We also really recommend the dinner, it is really delicious. The fish was caught by the husband and son of the host and salad ingredients were all from the garden!

I had a great stay at this seaside property. It was clean and the tranquility was outstanding, with the soothing sound of crickets at night. The rooms were very comfortable, ensuring restful nights. The highlight was the fantastic homemade breakfast featuring locally sourced products, served by the gracious host Rumy each morning. A truly pleasant experience!

For breakfast - Yummy crepes, with honey to start the day. The houses are located between the sea and Strandzha mountain with nice views. Very quiet and you can relax there and also drive down to Lozenets for night life.

The rooms were a little basic, not even a kettle

We had lovely stay here, a few km inland, in the peaceful countryside. We had a super balcony with views of the rolling hills of Stradhza, and had a wonderful host Rumy. She made us most welcome and cooked us a beautiful evening meal with many of the ingredients from their garden. It all seemed a world away from the busy coastal resorts and we are so please we stayed here.

Beautifully designed small compound with a secluded garden and four houses with simple rooms and apartments. Some of them have a balcony with sea view. Lovely home cooked traditional breakfast. Something different every morning. Homemade jams and honey. Home cooked dinner on request, with fresh fish caught by the owners and vegetables from their own garden. This place is a 5 minute drive from the beach. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and went for an early morning swim each day to a beach that the owners recommended because it has no bars or other tourist attractions. It was wonderful. Owners are friendly and accommodating.

If you are looking for an amazing stay in a relaxed traditional Bulgarian place, look no further…Vis Velika has it all! It offers clean and qualitative accommodation in a serene area near Lozenets, located between the mountains and the sea and not far from the beach. Now what makes staying at Vis Velika truly an amazing experience are the hosts, they are so hospitable and nice, they made my family and I feel welcome and truly enjoy our stay there. What is more, the hosts offer tasty traditional Bulgarian breakfasts and dinners (cooked by themselves) and you must try the fish, tomato salad and the traditional doughnuts. We couldn’t have wished for a better accommodation and I am happy I chose this place. You should definitely give it a try. 😉
