The location is superb, within easy walking distance to the center. A beautifully and very tastefully renovated hotel, with a gorgeous marble floored lobby, clean and comfortable room and welcoming, friendly, English speaking staff. A lovely hotel.

Breakfast was a set menu not a buffet with a variety of options like other hotels.

The in-house gym was great as was the fact that you could work out and watch football at the same time. The restaurant was great and their agnolotti sepia was one of the most unique dishes I've ever had. The hotel itself was half way up a tepe (hill) which means if you have mobility problems this isn't the hotel hotel for you.

Parking place in front of the hotel is paid, and it is very difficult to find parking space.

The staff was very helpful, they allowed us early check in as they made up the room very fast in the morning.

Despite the rooms are nicely decorated they are slightly on the smaller size for a 5-star hotel & they need some extra shelves & hooks in the bathrooms. Our biggest disappointment however was the hotel restaurant VALERE: we have been very much looking forward to enjoy it, so we have booked the breakfast & for dinner a table for 8 (!) people on the first night due to a birthday celebtration. The food was of a good quality, but they did NOT (!) offer even a bulgarian beer (!) really??? any had just a very limited choise of fruit juices, there is even NO ONE bulgarian dish on the menu at all... The restaurant rates are extremely high for bulgarian standards... After this experience we have cancelled the booked dinner for the 2. night, really pitty. We can only highly recommend the restaurant management to overthink their strategy, as we expect to enjoy local food & drinks when travelling to Bulgaria & not just standard european food we can get all verywhere...This was one iof the reasons we have done this trip to Bulgaria! The breakfast menu offered just 3 choises of main dishes which may be problematic for longer stays... Despite our critisism: all food has been of a very good quality & presetation!

The VIZUALIZA Residence Hotel is a real 5-star hotel which will meet the high expectations for everyone who likes to stay in a luxury ambience & this midst in the nice old town of Plovdiv. The hotel has been built to a very high standard & very tastefully decorated, they have paid attention to all small details, despite the standard double rooms are on the small side. We have been a group of 5 people & booked 3 double rooms. We have enjoyed our stay & deinnitely will come back.

the building is very cleanly and tastefully restored it was warm and the decor was luxurious and simple yet still opinionated a far cry from the type of aesthetic that dominates hotels in this price range nowadays ' the staff was bright and helpful ' parking was convenient and handled efficiently ' i wish i could have stayed for longer '
