The garden / balcony could be utilised more as a way to meet other travellers (but it was also too sweltering to stay outside!)

Clean and safe. Well located near the airport and a large, well-stocked supermarket. Large room with fan & mosquito net. Large en suite bathroom. Friendly staff, and a good breakfast available for a small extra charge (including real coffee & fresh mango).

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The manager, Mr Hermes was exceptionally kind. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Walking distance from the airport and near a large Super U in case you would like to stock up on snacks ;-) Staff were able to give good advice on transport prices. No shower head in the room. Washing to be done by using a large bucket.

The pre payment of the booking before arrival. This wasn't mentioned while booking or in the descriptions. All of a sudden, I get a message(1 week prior of my arrival) from the host highlighting a transfer to a German bank account, although I felt something fishy, it was taken care by the host when I mentioned that I was in Togo. Communication could be improved to avoid any misunderstandings. Also, while i was there, the key of my door( my room)broke, which offoucrse was not my problem because I didnot internationally break it and neither the host's problem however the host and his receptionist had an unnecesary argument with me early in the morning regarding property damage and demanding money for the lock. I didn't pay at the end. Anyways, please take additional care while using the items to avoid such situations Breakfast could be improved. Instead of butter and jam, a simple breakfast with bread and eggs could do.

Clean and tidy place. The guesthouse is in a secured place. A massive supermarket close by. WiFi is strong. The common area is big as well. Rooms are big with windows and sunlight. Breakfast is basic, bread jam butter and coffee/tea.

We where surprised and a bit disappointed that Guesthouse Cocotiers had moved. The new house is not as charming as the old one. But the staff made us feel at home so much, that we really enjoyed our stay.

I didnt sleep in the room in the end. It smelt so strongly of mould and was so hot with no ventilation it was like a sauna. I stayed in the lobby till morning then left. Maybe the other rooms upstairs were better. But this was a tiny room at the back of the house, outside. On booking theres no way to tell which is which. It was more like a harry potter bedroom. Acceptable if it had not been so mouldy and hot. I told them they shouldnt be advertising this room online. They said it was like that because it had been closed 3 days... and then tried to airate it for me the next day. But all i wanted really was not to have to pay full price for a room i didnt use. And an acceptance that it wasnt acceptable. But i did have to pay and they did try to make me stay the 2nd night. In good conscience for the next traveller, i have to write something because its not fair.

Staff were very nice. Porter let me in in the night and was very helpful despite the circumstances.

On arrival, I wasn't allowed to see the rooms physically to make a better decision. The single room had a conspicuous coloured wet patch on one part of the decking (from the bathroom upstairs, I suppose) which wasn't a nice sight; and there was this dampness that gave off a constant stench... probably from wet walls. It wasn't comfortable at all. There should be an AC option for this room too.

The environment was okay. I liked the location a lot...as if it was some GRA. There was a sizable single bed which was comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The people working in the guesthouse were friendly and helpful. The day of my check out to fly back home they even let me have a shower, which was highly needed after a swim in the sea.
