One of the rooms we had was dirtier and than the others and breakfast was a little bit disappointing. We did not have an iron in our room and had to pay for a cleaning service which charged per item. The service is outsourced and we wanted to order it we couldn’t as it was the national bank holiday.

We loved the location and how close it is to the beach and tourist points.

The soundproofing in the rooms is non-existent. When the shower was on in our adjoining room it sounded like ours was on and noises from the corridor were loud. The bathroom towels were quite old and worn. Language barrier with reception staff was sometimes difficult and they weren’t particularly friendly at times. No complimentary water in the room was a surprise, as was not having a coffee station. Gym is extremely minimal.

The location is excellent for Copacabana & Ipanema is walkable. It’s a cheap and quick taxi to downtown/Centro. Breakfast is good, shower is powerful and bed is comfortable. Seemed good value (£120 GBP per night in May - double room, partial sea view) for the area / standard of the hotel. Good tour options available at front desk. The rooftop bar/pool is nice and the guy who works regularly there is great!

in the bedroom we stayed there was only USB-A ports and no power outlets. There is a power outlet in the living room. We turned off the minibar in the bedroom to use the socket behind it. The dish quality in the restaurant was not consistant. Overall everything was tasty, but once we ordered the same dish from a previous night and this time it was not good.

The location is wonderful, next to bars and restaurants and also the metro station (less than 10 minutes walking). The bedroom has a window from ceiling to floor, so even layed down in the bed you have the beach view. Eeverything was very clean, the bed is hudge and confortable.

We had to wait over an hour extra for our room to be ready on our arrival and only received a voucher for a juice, water or capharina

We chose the hotel for it's location. The breakfast selection was very good and so to the meals we had at the roof top bar. Our bedroom was better than expected with side and front views of the beach.

Room price seemed high for the Brazilian economy and price of everything else.

Excellent location across the street from the world famous Copacobana Beach. Within walking distance to everything needed - restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

If you are traveling with the whole family and want two or more rooms next to each other or on the same floor, be sure to get a complete yes or no answer from the hotel. Asked in writing if it was possible to get the rooms next to each other or at least on the same floor, the answer was floating - yes if possible. On arrival it proved completely impossible neither next to each other nor even on the same floor. Room keys are locked to one floor which means you can't visit your family or they can visit me which creates another annoyance even though floors can be unlocked. As I said, I was offered to move to the same floor as the family the next day or that both would move to floor two from floor 12 and 7 respectively, ie a view of the palm trees and the traffic on the street. Not immediately appealing. If I had received the answer that I received at the reception, we would have booked another hotel. Will not visit the same hotel no mone.

The soundproofing between rooms could have been better - you could hear conversations through the walls, but the windows kept the sound of the street out.

Some can find the room a bit too smal for 3. We meesed some additional hooks and shelves.

Great location - a short walk to the Copacabana beach. We've got a room with a sea view and enjoyed it during our stay. Good breakfast, enough seats. Room is modern and clean.

We missed some hooks or shelves, especially some place to put the swim trunks,etc on.

Perfect location - just in the middle of Coppacabana, with lots of shops and restaurants. Quick walk to the beach. We enjoyed the breakfast, the whole family loved the cheese bread. The room was rather small for 3 but neat. The coctails on the roof are really good to try.
