Although our room had a nice view, our sheets had hair on it, the toilet kept getting stopped up and so did the shower. It was really annoying. It’s a good area but if ur looking for all the tourist attractions know that’s it’s 30-45mins drive.

The hotel staff were really nice and the balcony room had the best view. I liked the area… it was in the middle of everything. One of the Uber drivers told us this was the more safe area and less tourist. It was a gift and a curse. The mall was near by and plenty of places to eat along the strip. The hotel offers excursions with rides included.

No complimentary drinking water in the room, Erratic times of room servicing, confusing indicator lights signaling room service, bed linen poor quality, very little English spoken but google translate works well, Limited TV channels, no English channels, no facility to get cash if not exchanging USD, tips only in cash. Very elaborate and tedious check in process with tricky online preregistration, rooms had limited cupboard space, hotel could have had many bicycles to use free. But only 2 old ones available for rent.

Great Location, suite had large top floor sea facing balcony, good buffet breakfast, beach towels available, beach chairs available, beach umbrellas available and included, spa bath (suite). 3 grocery stores close by, wifi usable.

The wellness facilities were not fully operational.

We have booked triple luxury room with sea view. We had a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Room was clean, beds were confortable and the bathroom was spacious enough with a good shower. The breakfast buffet was of quality with enough choice (incl sparkling wine). Real family hotel.

Feijoada in the restaurant on Saturday at noon was unbelievably delicious. Breakfast is always yummy, especially the fresh omelette to order ( you pick & choose the toppings) cooked on the spot by the chef was superb. Juice was from the fruit ( pineapple 🍍), my girls couldn't get enough, they really enjoyed it.

Perfect Location Barra beach front. Rooms were clean bedrooms were nice and comfortable could do with uplifting the bathrooms and the air conditioning. Staffing all of them were superb ! can't fault.'em the cleaners always ready to assist. Food was deliciously done & variety of local region truly enjoyed. SPA also needs TLC (revamp) However, it was all clean.

The breakfast was limited and made up mainly of bread & pastries. The pool bar and bar were a little sterile. The elevytors are a disaster! One was broken, the remaining two were not coordinated and very slow.

Fantastic view from the balcony. The location could not be better, close to several beach bars, ATM & supermarkets. A short taxi ride to a very good shopping mall with excellent restaurants.

There were bugs in our room. They gave us a different room which was better but still had some. It wasn’t the cleanest room - not terrible, but not great and the bathroom had definitely seen better days (although good shower pressure as a plus). The staff was average (pleasant enough but we stayed other places that were far more friendly and kind) and the location is really only good for exploring the beach and immediately surrounding areas (whereas Ipanema or Copacabana are better jumping off points for some of the key sites).

We had an ocean facing room which had a balcony. Because of the main road between the hotel and beach it could be a little noisy but was still nice to be able to sit on when we wanted. The breakfast and restaurant were good, decent gym and ok pool. Bed was clean and comfortable. The beach is very nice and the hotel has chairs and towels which you can borrow and bring across to the beach.

The cost of parking in the Hotel is kind of expensive. The method with a white card, for requesting beach towels was time spend and bureaucratic I am sure that could be improved.

The view of the beach and the abundant breakfast were all pretty fine and fair for the price.. The staff are all kind and well, and make us feel well attended. The location is ok if you rent a car. Otherwise little short neighborhood for walking around to find some places to have dinner or entertainment. The shopping is at 18' by renter o driving. Beach is nice.. at the cross of the avenue.

The bed wasn't that comfortable and kind of hard to sleep on. Also I wish there were washcloths in the bathrooms.

The staff was very nice. There was one particular bellman, spoken was pretty well. Well. He actually used to live in the States for 12 years up in New Jersey and we talked every day. He was very helpful. Helpful. I forgot the gentleman's name but I really liked him and he was great.

Property well located for beach vacation in Rio. Hotel management weak. Online advance checking had been advised and done, but system messed up data with previous clients and the response of the reception staff at arrival was disappointing and inappropriate! The check in process seemed to be complicated and timely, but the staff were very friendly.

The breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice. Eggs cooked to your request.Champagne on ice 🍾🥂 Very attentive and friendly staff in the dining room and behind the front desk. I was happy to see that there was a hairdressers shop at the hotel and the staff were exceptionally talented and friendly. Beautiful pool area, suitable for couples and children.
