The pool was small and deep. It was difficult getting in and out. The area around the pool was very slippery when wet, and it was scary.

I loved the bathroom. Powerful shower head, big and spacious bathroom. The breakfast area was wonderful. It had a partial outdoor space with beautiful foliage and birds singing during breakfast.

Exceptional and friendly service from start to finish. I couldn't have had a more welcoming welcome to a place I've never visited before. Right in the heart of all things carnival, music and food, I was blown away. Thanks to all the receptionists for being very professional, friendly and always so helpful. Will miss this place and I'll be recommending it to everybody.

Gorgeous location in the Pelourinho, the historic center of Salvador, comfortable rooms, and common areas. But really what makes this place exceptional was the staff. They went out of their way to help me and saved me a lot of headache. I’m not sure when I will make it again to Salvador, but when I go, I will definitely stay here.

Had an absolute wonderful stay here in Salvador. The hotel property is very well kept and beautiful inside. The receptionists are incredibly kind and gave me great tips while helping me with my Portuguese. Both my arrival and departure were at early morning hours and they accommodated me so generously while even having breakfast for me ready when I left for a 3 am departure. Will stay here again when I come back in the future.

Extremely well located in the heart of the old town in Pelourhino. This hotel is an old colonial house very cosy and with beautiful decorations. The twin room was spacious with very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Breakfast was basic.

Everything! From the 5-star check-in process to the incredible view from our room. The room is clean and spacious, with a vast and comfortable bed. The view is incredible, and the whole atmosphere is unique. We couldn't be more grateful for choosing this hotel. The food in the restaurant is delicious and an excellent option in the neighbourhood.

A minor concern only - The breakfast wasn't to our tastes, we would have preferred some different options and felt that a lot of the food supplied went to waste. That being said, the quality of the food was great, it just wasn't our preference.

The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and gave us some great tips about the area, what to see, where to eat, etc. The location was incredible, the room was comfortable and clean and the hotel facilities were brilliant.

I’m claustrophobic so I couldn’t use the lift but there are not that many levels anyway. The dinner was very tasty but the portions could be a little bit more (like Brazilian hospitality). The wooden panels around the pool became very hot, suggest to paint them lighter.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was great as there was so much. The staff were very friendly and engaging.
