Anything you ask for is too much. We ordered food online, they tried to scam us ( third party ) eventually they delivered the food hours later when we were away. The only thing we asked for was: Please could you put it in our fridge. The answer was we do not do room service. Just a small detail nothing major. The aircon lived it's own life. The first few nights was good, like artic temperatures. Exactly what the aircon is meant to do. Then it just started to do it's own thing. Switch on and switch off. It would not cool the room down etc. Bathroom gets really hot and no good ventilation

- location is fantastic, 5 mins by foot and you're at a great spot on the Ipanema beach by Aropoador - breakfast is tasty and has lots of options - staff is nice & helpful and accomodated my special request for a room towards the back - lobby looks great and even has a space for working

Staff is not very flexible and did the bare minimum for us to have a nice stay. For example, I asked for early check in and no and than late check out and also no. I have worked in hotels for a long time and believe flexibility and creativity in problem solving is very important for having people coming back. The signage about the water being paid was not clear the room was nice and clean. I like it. Breakfast was amazing.

The location is great and there is a lots of people coming and going. Security in the door at all times. Bed was a great size and comfortable as well the air conditioning in the room. The staff was nice.

At the moment, there are some constructions going on on the Main Street, so better to request a room facing the interior.

The location is great. Walking distance to both Ipanema and Copacabana. Rooms are big enough. Affordable accommodation. Breakfast is really good. Easy check in process. The staff is very friendly and helpful, in special JESSICA did a great job and she was very helpful and professional. Very nice rooftop with a view ( not bar, just to chill out).

curtains and beds need updating .

the location is excellent. very close one block from the beach . the lobby is cheerful and the staff is very helpful and pleasant . the room is basic . the beds need some updating as it is just a mattress and box spring …I recommend making this nicer looking . the window treatments need updating desperately. otherwise the room is fine. breakfast is great , a variety of bakery goods , eggs , fruits , good coffee teas . pleasant stay overall but some minor updating would make this a super place to stay !

In the street there are two building construction sites, just across the street, during the day it is so loud. The other thing is acoustic isolation, it is so bad that you can hear whole sentences people speak in the room next to yours. The most important and my last clue is the place is not cleaned well, when I arrived I went to shower and there was mold on the shower-head, it was disgusting. At the end my stay was fine, since I live in Brazil and it was a few days business trip, but if I had traveled a long distance and had spent my holiday there, it would have been waste of money and time.

The location is stunning, in the middle of two most famous beaches, you can enjoy them both. Also it is a busy street so it is safe to walk there even in night.
