The hotel is in a characterful building in the old town, a short walk to the main sights and with good nearby restaurants, The reception staff (John in particular) were especially friendly helpful in giving recommendations and making arrangements. Breakfast is good with a view looking over the bay.

Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location and we could walk safely within the historic centre. Our room was delightful and we enjoyed having a private terrace with seating area. The superb breakfast had lots of choices and the restaurant had a view across the bay.

Beautiful environment with exceptionally friendly staff and other guests. For example one of them introduced to me the special properties of every fruit available at breakfast and pointed out locations in our view of the bay. My room had a balcony at the front so I could enjoy local musicians playing opposite. Great location with easy walk to major sites without being in the centre of tourism.

When we got there the person in charge of the reception counter was absent, and we were welcomed by one of the managers. Unfortunately she forgot to give us some important instructions. The towels were not changed during our stay. The amenities were not enough and we had to ask for refilling twice. During breakfast, unless you asked about it, the staff would not let you know about the the additional options they could offer (tapioca, eggs), even though we stayed there for three nights.

The hotel (pousada) was very beautiful and the rooms were spacious, including some works of art. The location was amazing, with quite a few restaurants and bars around.

Tried to book again, prices had increased drastically, definitely worth it on the off season but for me not at the inflated rates.

Was a beautiful place and the decor was completely adorable. Room had a balcony overlooking the street. Breakfasts were great. Staff were very friendly. Location was ideal.

It doesn’t have elevators and the rooms aren’t very very clean.

The girl in the reception was very kind and she helped us with the luggage. The sunset was wonderful from the hotel terrace. The design of the furniture and the mixture of colors and textures is amazing

Even though the staff was super nice and helped when we had questions, only the guy working the night shift could speak English. That made communications quite difficult. We would have loved to get more input for what to explore, recommendations for tours etc.

We liked the interior, the breakfast choice was huge and delicious. Location was good, walking distance to Pelourinho Center.

Water is so expensive and there's no filtered water offered in the facilities.

The staff is super nice and they offered a delicious breakfast with view to the sea. They gave us great restaurant recommendations and the location was also great. We walked from and to the posada while visiting Salvador.
