We really enjoyed our stay at Chez Marianne. The room was so nice and comfortable. We had a nice view to the ocean and breakfast was really great. Staff was also super friendly and the area is nice and safe at night. Would definitely recommend it!

lovely place with spacious room in the neighborhood i loved the most in Salvador! good vibes and nice places to hang out, beside the beach which is amazing. much safer than other areas to walk around at night - though you always need to be careful. super friendly and helpful staff and amazing breakfast with plenty of options to choose from!

Nothing to dislike about the property. The area felt like it lacked a little energy at times, but that could have just been the day and time when we were there because there are restaurants close by. Also the good thing is you know they take cleaning very seriously, the bad thing is the smell of their cleaning product isn’t very pleasant.. although I prefer clean and average smell to not clean :)

Breakfast absolutely outstanding. Staff very friendly. Room was very clean and extremely comfortable - great size and facilities. We especially enjoyed the large window where it’s possible to sit, similar to a balcony even. Area felt safe. Some small markets / bakery close by. Decent amount of restaurants close by. Close to the water can get a nice view for sunset.

Absolutely lovely ! The rooms were super clean and very well decorated ! The breakfast is AMAZING, one of the best we had in Brazil after 3 weeks traveling around. The location is good! Close enough to the bars and restaurant (3min walk)

I expected more local breakfast options.

The bedroom was very confortable and clean, as well as the bathroom. The location of the hotel is amazing! Close to the beach and many restaurants and bars. Breakfast has a lot of variety and everything was delicious, but I wish there were more local options, like tapioca, biju and couscous (there was couscous 2 days). But for people that don't care about these options, no complains.

We stayed in a quiet private double room on the top floor with balcony and sea view. There's a beach right in front of the house but we even more liked the Praia do Paciencia 5 mins to the right (west). There are some nice spots to watch the sunset along the esplanade and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast at Chez Marianne was probably the best we had in Brazil. You really need to have a strategy or the buffet will overwhelm you. Also, We liked the vibe and were made feel very welcome, especially by the manager Olivier and Elian at the reception.

My friends could not enter the facility. Understandable, but not so nice to me, as I was in town just for a couple of days, and got a nice room with a big balcony thinking about gathering people there, especially for the World Cup games.

We couldn’t set the temperature for the air conditioner, so it was a bit cold during the night in the bedroom.

It can get a little bit loud on the weekend if your room is facing the street.

Very friendly staff and very helpful! Our room had a wonderful sea view. The vibe in this place is just awesome. Live pianist during breakfast. The location is great, next to many cool bars and restaurants.
