Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWay, way tooooo cold in hotel lobby and restaurants.
Pretty flexible food options throughout the property, great walking opportunities, water bottle refill stations, very comfortable room at The Coral, awesome housekeeping (actually all the) staff.

United StatesOur room was a bit subpar based on what we had paid for it. The bathroom needed updating and a redesign - sink drain needed clearing, the toilet paper is located such that you really had to twist around to access it, and we nearly hit our heads on the low towel rack after using the toilet.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the shuttle to go between towers a lot, which was a nice feature. The aquaventure was a lot of fun, especially the lazy river! You can go on the water rides as much as you want, if you are staying at Atlantis.

United StatesThe food is outrageously expensive and in my opinion, not worth the price at all. Not really that many options, other than quick bites around the pools and extremely overpriced restaurants for dinner.
The property is absolutely gorgeous! Everything was very clean. The rooms at the Coral building could definitely use an upgrade.

NorwayFor a couple with out children we felt out of place due to the amount of families that was at the resort. Food is expensive compared to quality at certain restaurants. Few Bahamian restaurant options. Water quality was sub par at the drinking stations. Its hot in the Bahamas and a liter water costs 10usd. Water park slides have long waiting lines. Keep beach towels because they are always empty. Wrist band machines always broken so you need to show room key to Get into aquaventure areas.
The place was clean and the resort was great with alot of activities. Beautiful sun sets and great beaches to relax on. Variety of restaurants to choose from. The staff was helpful especially bell boy and Vallet. We saw the Rob Lake show that was entertaining. There are bars everywhere if you like to drink. The place is huge and if you like to take a strikk its great. Aquaventure park was a pluss if you like to interact and watch. Rooms Are big.

BrazilIf you are traveling with strollers or wheelchair the hotel does not have many accessible ramps or elevators....and the few elevators that they have break all the time. Also it is a nightmare to have lunch at Atlantis, many restaurants don't open for lunch, and when it rains the restaurants by the pool close living you basically no options for lunch. We also had a very bad experience with Nobu. We made a reservation to celebrate my son's 1st year birthday there. And when we got there the restaurant told us that kids were not allowed in the restaurant after 7pm. Who does that in a hotel focused on kids like atlantis???
The hotel itself it's very nice

United StatesThe staff is awful here. Very rude. No one smiles. People don’t even say hi to you when you pass them. The bus driver even yelled at me for getting on the wrong bus he said “can’t you read”. This was the on premise shuttle bus. So much different than other Caribbean places I’ve been.
Coral is a nice alternative to some of the more expensive hotels at Atlantis. The rooms are a litte dated but we had a great view. We were also super close to the coral side pool. Everything is walking distance but it can take up to 30mins to walk to the other side of the property. To get to the royal tower took us probably about 10ish minutes.

Bahamasit’s what it is, so getting around the property is a bit of an adventure. tho there is supposed to be a shuttle i never tried and even still it would be a lot of walking for the outdoor facilities. but this is not a fault for them just a personal problem for me, walking is good exercise.
The kids liked it. lots to do. almost everything.

MaltaThe staff were rude and uptight especially at the reception and the sunice shop near reception. When asking the receptionist a question he literally ignores whatever you’re saying and looks around like you’re not important. This happened with many of the receptionist. The only two places who had nice and friendly staff were are Olives ( compliments to edward) and at Nobu.
The property is beautiful and offers complete luxury
