This accommodation exceeded all expectations! Excellent location, right by the beach. Clean and comfortable rooms. And it also has its own private area by the beach. Highly recommended!

We had a really bad check in experience, where a relative of the owner/manager was waiting for us and as soon as we arrived she basically chucked the key at us and left. Therefore we weren’t aware of the beach loungers etc until the end of our stay. Other than the above, the only other point to mention is that we didn’t feel that this hotel was good value for money. The rooms here are basic, and whilst the hotel calls them ‘junior suites’ with ‘stunning views of the sea’, our room on the ground floor did not have a good view of the sea at all. Overall I would recommend staying here as it was comfortable, it was just quite basic for the price.

The location of Rainbow hotel is great, with everything in walking distance (including the bars at the Split that are a couple of mins away). The room itself is pretty basic but was a decent size and very clean, with two large double beds which were really comfortable, as well as a good shower. The room was cleaned daily, with a top up of coffee and a water provided in the room every day which was a nice touch. They also have beach loungers out the front of the hotel, on a small/narrow private beach which was helpful if you didn’t want to go to a bar/wanted stay close to the hotel.

Loved everything - love this quay and find myself returning from the uk over and over again Disappointed I never had my fly over blue hole experience due to mixed issues - me being over relaxed,taxi dropping me at the wrong spot and tropic airlines not walking 50 yards to check two people missing off their itinerary !! Hoping for a refund. Golf carts should be regulated before it turns into San pedro and looses its laid back charm.

Everything was spot on host was extremely accommodating- we arrived early so as to get a full day on the quay our host held our luggage and had our room prepared for 12pm - which we were most grateful for so we could freshen ourselves

Shower area didn’t drain well, but fault of the tile man as it’s not set or slopped correctly.

Large room with comfortable beds, fridge, microwave. Clean and good size bathroom with large shower. Friendly and supportive staff with good suggestions. On the main road close to shops, ferry and the split is five minutes walk. Upstairs units have nice balcony.

Clean & quiet in a great location. They have bike rentals at very reasonable rates but we mostly walked everywhere. There is a loud bar next door but once inside our room it was not noticeable. We felt we had good value for the price.

The gentleman who checked me in was super nice and accommodating - telling us we could check in a little early. Cleaning staff and others we met were super helpful! We were in first floor with our 13 y/o daughter. Location was perfect as we were able to go across the road to our favorite spot and hang out. Room seemed newly renovated and the quality of the Reno was nice! Not a big room, but with two beds and a nice little area with a countertop, microwave and coffee was all we needed. The bathroom was really nice and new and everything was clean. Will stay there again!

No major issues. The bed frames did creak a fair amount when you got in and out of them or rolled over which was a bit disruptive. There are two beds and we split up which helped limit the noise some. I had no issues with the bed I slept in, the mattress was comfortable enough. We would have liked a large water bottle in the room instead of getting two half liter bottles a day. That wasn’t really enough for us and we bought some gallon jugs during our stay. Rainbow is on the main road so there is some road noise, though we never found it really bad and most nights it calmed down. We didn’t hear any nightlife really. Our room was on the main floor. Next time we visit we think we would request a 2nd floor room as it may have a bit more of a view. We liked to sit out on our bench in the evenings and people watch but the retaining wall made that slightly harder. Upstairs we think we could have leaned against the railing and looked down and had a better view. Again, this was all really minor and should not detract you from picking Rainbow. The positives far outweigh these minor points.

Everything on Caulker is fairly close but Rainbow felt like it was a good location, sort of middle of everywhere we really wanted to go. Under 5 minutes to the ferry, split or west sunset restaurants. The lounge chair area is decent and it even has a bit of a beach out front you can cool off in. They have bike rentals which makes it easy to grab for a day and get around the islands. The restaurant was also good. The owner/operator family are great, friendly people who always greet you with a smile and hello. Overall a very good stay.

My husband and I can't think of anything we didn't like about this place. We have never been in a hotel that requires toilet paper in the trash can, but it was not an issue. The cleaning gal came in every morning to remove all trash and freshen up supplies.

The location was THE BEST! We decided to walk everywhere for 5 days... and it worked! Two doors down was ENJOY restaurant and 3 doors the other direction was Happy Lobster, EXCELLENT breakfasts! We were happy to see 2 new bottles of water in our room every single day! The staff was happy and very helpful. They even let us leave our bags in the office and kick around town for 3 hours after check-out. Public bathrooms can be difficult to find in Caye Caulker, but this hotel let us use the office bathroom even though we had checked out! We were there during New Years and the room was VERY QUIET! We only heard noises on New Year's Eve (to be expected).

The street outside is very bright and can be light at night (then again it was New Years!). No water fill up.

Wi-Fi was malfunctioning, we did not have good signal on the room. It will come and go during the day. We had to go to the nearby coffee shop to use the internet because we were working at night and the connection was unstable.

The location is very convenient. It is pretty close to the beach, close to restaurants and other business. It does not include breakfast, but there is a pretty nice coffee shop next to it. We ordered the Belizean breakfast and it was delicious. The beds and the room in general are very comfortable and clean. Also, the people in the reception are very pleasant, we arrived late at the hotel, and they kindly helped us check in despite the hour. The beach towels they gave us were also a good size and very clean.

Ernesto is a very welcoming host. We really liked our stay in Caye Caulker. The view from the rooms is awesome. Everything is clean and well equipped.

It would have been nice to have a couple of bowls, plates, and silverware. (There was a sink, frig & microwave in the room).

The location couldn't have been better this time of year (September), but it was definitely the slow season. Not sure how quiet it would be during high season. Very roomy! Mostly seemed updated.

Absolutely helpful and friendly staff. They were always available for my many needs and questions. The room has microwave, refrigerator, and excellent air conditioning and also has a safe for valuables. Bed was firm, comfortable with a perfect view of the Sea. Shower was strong and warm. Mostly, I felt welcomed and safe
