“The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable - a great place to relax. It is situated so that each room has beautiful views and vistas. There are multiple outdoor sitting areas (decks) to accommodate every weather condition including rain. The owner was very helpful - meeting us when we got there, describing the house's features, explaining how things worked, and giving us suggestions on places to see and where to eat. The house is the last one on a lane, affording a lot of privacy. At the same time it is very conveniently located to many of the highlights of Nova Scotia e.g. Halifax, Lunenberg, Mahone Bay, Peggy's Cove, etc. It was fun watching how the movement of the tide revealed an isthmus connecting the mainland to the private island that is part of the property as well as the variety of birds that frequent the bay in front of the house.”
