It seems that the hotel could use a new simple facelift, New paint and carpets to brighten up the rooms and hallways.

I have stayed there many times, great price and fun for the kids and 5 mins from downtown.

Weird smell in the room. It doesnt smell bad, but it was just a weird smell. After few minutes in the room you dont notice it anymore, but each time you get out and come back, you smell it. It's just weird. Not bad tho. Also it is overpriced. No restaurant or pool. So the price should have been a lot lower. The room isnt "Extra", it is pretty much simple. Not much isolation too. There was a dog on the lower level (i was on lvl 2), and we heard it all night long barking.

I slept well, the bed was comfy.

It didn't seem overbooked or too busy , I dont understand how twice staying there i was twice in a room facing a back alley and a wall. Can you not put people in slightly nicer rooms ? (Room 262) had no remote for the TV so it didn't work , and blinds were old and it was a real struggle to close them. Can hear EVERYTHING through the door (vacuuming and other guests door shutting ... maybe invest a little in different doors , its about time guys).

I liked the side exit going straight to the parking lot so i dont have to go through the loby.

room smelled bad and wasn’t clean. there was dust everywhere, coffee machine was filthy but the bathrooms luckily were clean.

Too close to the train track

Staff were great and very friendly. We had issue with our TV and they quickly rectified the issue with a smile on their faces

Under renovation . Beds worn out. Party goers from midnight to 3am on Friday night till silenced by front desk visit Hotel close to a train track with frequent noise. No Restaurant due to renovations.

The price relative to all amenities being closed(restaurant, pool etc). The room we were given was the very end of the hall on the first floor with a door accessible to the parking lot. This was a problem as there was significant traffic in and out through this door by many guests. This constant traffic in front of the room door and the sound of the exit door was stressful to the dog and us. The door to the parking lot said it locked behind you however there was NO lock! So it was open to anyone at all times. NO SECURITY for guests at all especially us the first door inside. This burns me as we even had to pay extra to get the crappy "dog room" by the busy and noisy door and had to pay extra for the privilege of having our dog with us. Not impressed by emergency vehicles waking me up at 3 am either. Not hotels fault but made me more concerned about the open door outside my room.

The interior of the hotel looked dull - not like a 3-star hotel. Definitely a need for renovation! Since we were out most of the day, it was an acceptable room to just stay the night.

There are doors that attach to the neighboring room on either side. These doors have no sound proofing, so when our neighbors returned at midnight we were woken up. At 1am they put on a movie with explosions, which kept us up another 2 hours. Definitely could use soundproofing

One room had cookies in the coffee machine and no screen in the window you don't have the plastic cover over pillows and u can see yellow spots on the pillow I had blood stains on my comforter, pillows are not comfy at all and the pool was not open due to construction which was not mentioned during my booking

The toilet was so low to the ground, I had a hard time sitting on it, the beds we're comfortable but noisy, there was some water damage in the room I stayed in.
