The freezer in the room kept activating, somewhat noisily, every 10 minutes until I shut it off.

Anahim Lake is like a little piece of heaven on earth. The resort is so perfectly located. The service was exceptional and our stay was divine. The rooms are simple but very comfortable with everything that you need. Nothing could beat having a coffee and listening to the birds on the dock as the mist lifts off the lake.

Room was cramped. Bathroom had a plastic folding accordion door and was dated. Because of the remote location, we had dinner and breakfast on property. The food was good, but the prices reflect the remote location. Our room faced the lake, but a very ugly outbuilding (?!) blocked half of the view. We could hear almost everything from the rooms above, so I recommend paying more for the view and no footsteps.

Beautiful location on Anahim Lake. Dramatic dining room overlooking the lake. Peaceful and quiet. Lots of bird watching opportunities and fishing. Bring bug spray. Canoes available, but it was too windy for us to go out when we were there.

Comfortable room, with sitting area and a screened in balcony. Bed was comfortable. Host was very helpful and provided information about local things to do. We were the only guests, but they still provided great dinners for both nights we were there (extra cost) in the very fine dinning room. Very nice location on the lake.

A hot tub was advertised, but not available. The owner removed it from their listing, but not before we saw it. Unfortunate, but forgivable. Location is very remote (which we liked), but no food options (cooking facilities) except what they offered in the restaurant. The menu was set with no real options and prices were not mentioned in the listing and were quite high.

Beautiful, remote location right on the lake. Decor was a fun, eclectic style. The food was great, and the service was beautifully formal and elegant. The room had lots of hot water, bed was really comfy, bar fridge in room, and everything we needed to feel welcome and comfortable. It was wonderful to have a touch of civilization in a stunning wilderness setting - the best of both worlds!

Unfortunately the hot tub was shut down due to covid 19.

The meals we had were excellent the service was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again.

There was nothing that could have improved our stay, except the weather but then you can't manage nature? The sun did come out for the latter part of our stay so all was good. The resort is in a lovely scenic area of the province and we enjoyed our stay.

We were treated very graciously. Our accommodation was comfortable and welcoming. Our hosts were accommodating and very helpful with information about the surrounding area. Each day we were asked what we would like and the time we would like to eat.

the room was not cleaned properly. there were clothes and personal hygiene items in the drawers. the satellite tv didn't work and he wouldn't even budge on the price to compensate that. so we couldn't even relax after our scary winter drive and cuddle and watch a show.

it was dark couldn't really see but it looked like it would be an amazing place in the summer with outdoor beauty.

This place has very peaceful atmosphere, feels almost magical. Rooms have view on a picteresque lake, and are located within few meters from the water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.

The whole building is in need of repair and updates. No railings on side of concrete with steep drop off.

The grounds were not kept up to the standard of a "resort". The hot tub was not available for use, the fountain was not operational. All the decks and wood work needs much improvement and fixing up. The path to our room was loose sand and rocks which was very slippery.
