I came very late at night, nearly 11 pm. It was hard for me to find my right bed in the dorm, because it is very dark (I do not want to trouble the other guests, so I do not turn on the right). There are very small number on the bed, that I couldn't find it, I went to wrong bed, causing trouble to another person. I feel very sorry for that. I think the hostel should provide some more clear details about the bed in the room (in a diagram, for example).

The location is very good. There are many good restaurants, shops nearby, making shopping and eating are very convenient. The staff is very helpful. They provide me with information on public traffic. The kitchen has many kind of ingredients which is very convenient for people who want to cook theirselves.

I needed more information about the parking because they gave me a fine. Also I would appreciate more information about things to do in Montreal and a map. More activities, not just on Thursday night, because it was the night we have to leave.

The blue and aqua room not being really separated is a problem, a 20 beds room can be way too noisy. There is not enough space in the fridge Except from one shower, water is most of the time not very warm.

Location was perfect. It's amazing to have free tea and coffee. The kitchen has a lot of equipment which is nice and the living room/shared area has such a nice vibe. The staff is AMAZING, best thing of this hostel

I think that the shared bathroom situation wasn't ideal, but I expected that coming in. Also, the no shoes rule was at times annoying, but i understand why it is in place. Also the stairs...

I really liked the coziness of the common spaces and the overall cleanliness. We had a private room which was very nice. There was a nice community among everyone staying there, and it was easy to meet people and make friends.

I stayed in the 10 bed mix dorm and after the second night, someone was snorring really loud. And with really loud, I mean that loud that you coud her him over the whole floor. Also, for the season (November) the blankets were too thin. We got extras after we asked at the reception.

One of the best Hostels I've stayed in! The rules of the shared spaces are very good (e.g. no outdoor shoes) and followed by everyone. The kitchen had plenty of cutlery and utensils and the size was big enough.

There are a number of travellers that choose the outside of the hotel to smoke away (cigarretes and pot). It is annoying navigating through a cloud of toxic gas just to get out or to get in, particularly when it is cold and you have to search through your phone to find your code.

I like that it is affordable and it is clean. Everything is relatively straight forward, you get a code to entry both to the facility and to the room. You get a locker (you will need to bring your lock, or buy at reception) and sheets, and the name is on your bed. It is within reasonable distance to René Levesque, and there is a shop about 3 blocks up.

Linens/blanket could be cleaner. The room with beds is a bit stuffed and dark the metal lockers are loud but at least big enough. My food got thrown out at check out time although I said I was going to leave the hostel a bit later :(

Very nice people and a lot of common space to hang out during the day or meet new people. Big kitchen with storage space and everything you need, the toaster could be replaced though. Showers good. WiFi everywhere. Wash/dry inhouse for $5

noisy guests and our room seemed a bit colder at late night hours, maybe because the sheets where too thin or the heater was set on a very low degree.

If it wasn`t for the noisy guests it would`ve been the perfect stay. but I guess it is not the Auberge`s fault. anyway i can`t wait to return their for few extra days
